A few minutes later Andy texted me:
What should I wear? Seeming that I'm meeting your mother...
"Mother?" I yelled from my room.
"Yes?" she said entering my room.
"What do we wear? Like dress normally or fancy?"
"Your true selves."
"So normal clothes?"
"Yes."
"Okay thanks"
She walked out and by the sounds of it she went downstairs.
Just wear whatever you normally wear or as my mother calls it "your true selves
Oh okay thanks.
I put on one of my band t shirts and the black skinny jeans I always wore. I went into the bathroom and did some touching up of my eye makeup since I did actually look like a panda.
The doorbell rang.
Wait do we have a doorbell? Well of course we do but I never noticed it.
I went to walk downstairs but got tripped over by my cat.
Oh yeah I forgot to I mention I have a cat which lives in my room. The litter box certainly doesn't though! That shit lives in my bathroom.
I picked her up and put her in my room
"Oh Nina why were you out there?".
I walked downstairs for the second time without fail this time and opened the door.
"Sorry I took so long my cat kind of tripped me while trying to walk downstairs"
"Haha it's okay"
"Come in".
He came in and I led him into the kitchen where my mother was actually cooking something for the first time in ages.
"Mother this is Andy, Andy this is my mother"
"Hello Mrs. Estelle."
"Oh just call me Ella, makes me feel old being called Mrs. Estelle" she laughed
"Sorry"
"Oh don't be dear. Dinner won't be ready anytime soon, entertain yourselves while waiting"
"Will you need help cooking that?" I asked.
"I'm not high Aurora I got this!"
"Okay then"
"She seems nice" Andy said whilst us walking upstairs.
"Yeah she's cheerful and nice when my dad isn't here."
"I'm sure your more cheerful too"
"Eh I guess"
I shut the my bedroom door.
"So my cat doesn't get out"
"Oh, can meet your cat?"
"Yeah sure."
I walked into my bathroom and got her.
"This is Nina, she's my best friend."
"I feel replaced"
"You're my human best friend." I smiled.
"Oh thank god I thought I was replaced by a cat for a minute"
