My eyes widen and I freeze, not sure what to do.
I'm torn between kissing her back or pushing her away. Before I can decide what to do she pulls back her face turning red, "Sorry." She's so not sorry and she knows it. Damn this girl acting so innocent. I smirk, "No, you're not." Becca smirks at me for the first time in the few years I've had to deal with her following me. She whispers, "No, I'm not." She pulls me to the bed. I look at her surprised as she continues to smirk at me. She better not be thinking what I think she's thinking because that's not going to happen.

She she sits down with me on the bed and reaches under my bed. My eyes narrow. Did she find them? Shit. I let out a relieved laugh when she pulls out the first aid kit, "What did you think I was doing? Becca tilts her head at me the smirk still in place. Oh she knows exactly what she was doing and what I was thinking. Sneaky.

I chuckle and shake my head off before slowly taking my sweater off, trying not to pull at the stitches. Once I get my head out I notice Beccas eyes trail over my body, "I know I'm irresistible but try to stay focused." My eyes narrow when I see hers glint mischievously, "I am focused." She winks at me, "I'm just focused on you."

I chuckle at that, giving her her a smirk and lean in close to her face, "Tempting." I lean back and take the first aid kit out of her hands, "I can do this myself Kitty, you need to head to class and this time actually go to class." Becca pouts but nods slowly. I smile at her and pat her head, "Now come on, I'll walk you to class." That seems to satisfy her at least.

She smiles back at me and walks to the door. I whistle and Shadow climbs into my pants pocket, sticking his head out like a dog in a hand bag. Good thing that I have deep pockets in these jeans or else he probably wouldn't have fit. I chuckle and close the door behind her. She tries to take my arm on hers but I twist to the other side of her with a smirk, "Nice try." She pouts again but doesn't try again which makes me a little disappointed. It's fun to joke around and mess with her.

We silently walk towards her class and when we reach it I give her a wink and leave her to class, "Don't follow me. You'll be lucky that you don't get hurt if you do." I tell her as I walk away.

Becca's POV~

"Why does he tease me so?" I mutter under my breath. I don't know where I stand with Octavian. He's always playing hot and cold with me. One minute it seems like he wants me and the next he brushes it off like it's nothing. I don't get him. I barely know anything about him other then what I've observed over the couple of years. I know he isn't human, which it knew, and he's called Shadow Assassin. But why is he called that? What was in that file he got?

And what's with the around necklace his neck? He never takes it off. But I know that it's important, and I only caught a glimpse of what was in his sketch book. Their we're drawings of some girl, fire, and shadow like things. But the last one caught my attention. It looked like me.... I shake my head, no it couldn't have been. It probably was of that girl again. But I've never seen her before, not even around the academy.

But a question that keeps bothering me is: what is he? What does he do? Where'd he find Shadow? All these questions and I don't know if he'll ever answer them. An idea comes to mind and I smirk. I should follow him. Maybe then I'll learn more about him. I wait for him to turn the corner then quietly trail after him, forgetting about his warning.

Octavian is a silent walker, damn. I remember him saying 'curiosity killed the cat' but the thing is, satisfaction brought it back. So maybe if I stay quiet he won't catch me. Hmm, I didn't think this all the way through. If I follow him and he doesn't see me then I'm going to want to ask him about whatever happened and than he would know that I followed him. If I follow him and he doesn't find out it'll be hard for my curiosity to stay hidden and to not ask questions.

And if I don't follow him I'll die of curiosity and bug him none stop about it and I feel like that'll annoy him and he might decide to kill me. His mother said that if I try to tell anyone than he could kill me but he could just kill me anyways and if he had to he'd like about it tell them I tried to tell someone.

Damn, I need to focus. Octavian's so fast on his feet. I speed walk until I see him slow down. I feel my eyebrows furrow when I see him go into the forest. Shit, it'll be harder to be quiet I'm the forest with all the leaves and branches. Octavian blends in so much but at least it's not night time than I'm sure I'd lose him. I hear a growl and look to Octavian but I don't think that was him. I see his body tense and he looks to the side. I move to see what he's looking at and trip on a log that was beside me. I fall. And it's extremely loud.

Octavian spins around, totally forgetting about what he was looking at and narrows his eyes at me, "What are you doing here?! I told you not to follow me!" My eyes widen when I see a tall muscular figure with white hair walk up behind Octavian, "Octavian behind yo-" I'm cut off as a large wolf jumps in front of me. I freeze but get distracted when I look behind it and see that the white haired stranger has Octavian in a headlock, "Come on Octavian I thought you were stronger then this." The white haired stranger looks up and notices me, "Ah seems you found someone. Lynda! Come back here with the group and leave the girl alone."

The wolf gives a bow of it's head and runs back into the woods behind the stranger. I focus back on Octavian when I hear him groan, "Come on Mac, we haven't seen each other in years and you sneak up on me like this? Let's make it a fair fight." The stranger releases Octavian with a chuckle, "Okay, alright. If you really think you can beat me, but first introduce me to your cute friend on the ground." The stranger winks at me and Octavian rolls his eyes as he turns to me, "Get up and come here Becca, and Macona, "Octavian smirks, "Tell your friends to come out too. Well have a little audience."
