Chapter 16

Lucio up top

We finally put on night clothes and lay back down.

I lay there holding her. She nuzzles into my neck, "You know Kitty, I'm surprised you even let that get that far." Becca yawns and looks up at me, "I told you I liked you and I wouldn't regret it. And I don't." I shake my head with a smile, "Why am I not surprised?"

She leans up and gives me a gentle kiss on the forehead, "You shouldn't be. Hopefully now you'll stop playing hot and cold with me." I smirk and think out loud, "Mmm, should I dad that hope? Maybe, maybe not." She pokes my stomach roughly, "Don't get cute with me. But I do have to ask: What does this make us?" I hum in thought.

I don't know myself. She doesn't know much about me or my past. And I don't think I'm ready to tell her about it, "I guess that's up to you." I smirk at her, "But before that I have to ask." She pouts at my mocking tone before I say, "Would you care to be my girlfriend, Kitty?" I meet her eyes and she smiles big at me, "Of course." She hugs me to her tightly and lays against my shoulder.

I chuckle, "She now get some sleep." She curls into me closer and after a few seconds later her breathing even out and I know she's out.

I close my eyes and fall into a dreamless slumber but it doesn't last long. I'm awoken by someone knocking on the door.

I look out my window and notice it's still night out. I grumble as I pull away from Becca and open the door. My eyes widen in surprise. Lynda and Natosha is standing awkwardly beside each other. Natosha looks nervous and scared at the same time while Lynda just looks plain tired and carrying a suitcase.

I motion for them to come in, "She, Becca is sleeping." Lynda nods and Natosha grabs my hand and pulls me into the bathroom, "Whoa. What's wrong Nat?" She gently closes the door and sticks her hands in her pockets as she looks at me, "That guy that was in the photo with Acria cornered me when I went out for dinner. He said to bring you to him or else." I scowl at the threat, "Okay. You're okay." Natosha still looks so shaken up. I let out a soft growl and pull her to me. She immediately wraps her arms tightly around my waist and buries her face in my shoulder, "You have nothing to worry about. Come on than. Let's go meet with him."

She doesn't let go yet, still keeping a tight he around my waist. Once she calms down she releases me and I take a step back and go out the bathroom. I see Lynda sitting in my desk chair, "Hey Lynda of you're tired you can go on the top and get some sleep. I'll be back in a bit." She nods and Natosha and I leave to go meet up with this guy.

I'm kinda pissed that he threatened her. Their was no need for him to do that. Hmmm, maybe a good punch will make her feel better. We walk to the edge of the forest before we see a shadowed figure.

The figure motions for us to follow. When we do I make sure Natosha is securely behind me so if anything happens she isn't involved.
We make it to a clearing and the figure removes their hood and I reveals Lucio.
