Iris woke up, covered in cold sweat, and laying on the same hospital bed she refused to sit on in the first place.

She peeled open her eyes, and groaned, attempting to push herself up on her elbows, and promptly fell backward, wincing in pain. "You sit your ass down."

That was Tony, sitting to her right on another medical bed, awake and hooked up to an IV. Iris looked over to find one inserted into her own arm, along with a heart monitor to her left, wires extending from her chest.

The sheets were damp, probably from her sweat, but somehow neat and orderly. She'd also been changed out of her dirty blouse, pants, socks, and boots. In their place was a clean white dress, resembling a hospital gown, but softer, and clearly from someone.

She had also clearly been washed. Iris blushed at the thought. Her face and her body, in general, was all clean. There was no longer dirt in between her fingernails, and she didn't feel gritty or greasy.

Iris blinked a couple of times, trying to get used to the bright lights of their room.

It was then she realized she and Tony weren't the only ones in there.

The red-head he had greeted first thing off the ship sat in a chair next to him, holding one of his hands, tracing circles on the back of it with her thumb.

"I don't mean to be rude," Iris coughed, "But-"

"Pepper Potts."

Iris made a fast connection. "Please tell me you're marrying each other? Was this the wedding you invited me to? Please say yes."

Tony looked over to her and chuckled deeply, smiling. Pepper did the same. "If she'll still have me, then yes."

"Ooh, I've never been to a wedding, this should be fun."

"Hold your horses Supergirl."

"Don't have any."

"Shut your mouth and rest."

Exasperated, Tony turned his head away and closed his eyes. Iris did the same, laying straight on her back, and staring up at the ceiling. It was then, she realized, that the room was rather quiet, too quiet, for almost a dozen superheroes to be sharing.

She looked out of the glass wall to her left, opposite of Tony and Pepper. The initial room she'd lost her cool in was empty. The long table where they'd gathered around was clear, save for a few stray pieces of paper.

The hologram Natasha had shown the group after wheeling Iris out was still up and running, the schematics of a new planet now spun on an invisible axis. A red dot flashed on the surface, and information that Iris couldn't make out was displayed above it.
