Hermione Granger quickly put on her thick and warm Gryffindor-ish jacket, she doesn't want to be ice cold while she's out at Hogwarts alone. Quietly, she slowly tiptoed out of her room, walked gently, and reached the Gryffindor common room without waking up a another gryffindor soul.

'This better be important.' she thought to herself as she prepared to leave the room to meet someone who's been patiently waiting for her outside, chatting a bit with Ms. Fat Lady on the portrait.

The silver round-shaped locket with its elegant and elaborate design kept its light blinking a silvery blue color, just like his eyes, telling her a message. Words can be magically seen in the locket, as if it was enchanted to receive and send messages of some sort.

That enchanted locket works in pair, meaning, there is another person owning a similar locket, which enables them to give and receive secret messages with one another.

"I promise, it won't be long... please? Please?" Said in the message in cursive letters.

Finally reaching the outside of the Gryffindor common room, Hermione met the person who's been sending secret messages to her.

"Draco Malfoy, what are you doing here?" She whispered, but obviously annoyed.

What could be Draco Malfoy, the Slytherin prince, be doing in front of the Gryffindor's common room at midnight?

Upon seeing the two, the lady in the portrait gasped as she saw Hermione pulled Draco from his sleeve and dragged him at the nearest wall. Hermione looked at the moving picture with worried eyes, fearing that she'll tell others what she had seen.

"Please don't tell anybody." She begged.

"A Gryffindor, and-- and a S-Slytherin? How could you-- i've never witnessed anything like this before." The lady said upon realizing the situation, "I thought you just wanted to talk to me?" Her lady met Draco's eyes.

Ignoring the comments of the lady in the picture and Hermione's constant begging, Draco pushed her against the wall and said, "I've missed you, Hermione."

He had almost kissed her if only she didn't looked away to see if anyone's in the area along with them.

"Draco, what are you doing here? It's the middle of the night and--"

The blonde-haired shushed her with his fingertips on her soft lips, "Shh, I just want to see you--"

"I guess I better leave you lovebirds your alone time together?" Said the lady in the picture, giving Draco a smile, and it seems like he had understood what that smile meant.

"Thank you." He whispered and the lady in the portrait began leaving.

Hermione stared at her with curious eyes then turned to the blonde and asked, "What was that all about?"

"The what?"

"The smile? The-- ugh, nevermind. You have to go back to your house now, Malfoy."

Hermione pushed him lightly, hoping he would leave soon enough before Mr. Filch and his noxious cat see them snogging or whatever they're doing and might do.

"Hey-- hey, I just got here. Granger, don't you want to see me?" He had his arms open and winked at the girl.

"Of course, I do, but--"

Before she could finish what she wanted to say, his lips met hers. Hermione's eyes widened, but then softened and she kissed him back and they kissed right there and then.

His slender body lightly pushed on hers which made her back touch the wall. Hermione couldn't help it but her hands were now all over Draco's back and neck while his were on her waist and thigh.

They passionately kissed each other, exchanging moans of pleasure, and continued messing each other's hairs. The brunette had even needed to tiptoe to have a better position while in their midnight make-out session.

Hermione's the first to move away, and quickly, she spanned her head from left to right, seeing if anyone's watching them. Good thing it's just them. No sign of Filch, his cat, or other intruders that could ruin their perfect night.

"Is this what you came here for? You went all your way from your common room to mine just to--"

"Snog you? Of course, you git."

He gave her another kiss. This time, it was a sweet and pleasant one. He then moved away.

Never did Hermione thought that the Slytherin boy would be very clingy. They would always fight before, that time when she still can't see how his silvery blue eyes shine in the sunlight, or when all he does was tease Harry Potter. But now, they're different-- everything's just not the same anymore.

Honestly, no one knew this was coming, not even them, and no one knew about their secret relationship, not even their best friends, Ron and Harry, Crabbe and Goyle. The last thing on their minds right now is telling their friends about them.

"I didn't know your locket have other purposes, Draco. Not until now." She whispered, her hand toying the silver locket.

"I wanted to test it out, see if it'd work, and thankfully it does." Said Draco.

He picked his locket from his pocket, and held it together with Hermione's.

"I better go back now." Saddened by his words, Hermione put her hands on his shoulder again, tiptoed, and kissed him. This time, on his cheek. He smiled.

"I'll see you tomorrow, then, Malfoy." She told him, removing her arms from his shoulders.

"Of course, Granger."

Draco began to walk away, but he grabbed her hand, not wanting to leave just yet. He kissed the back of her hand, face flustered and her heart's melting as she smiled. But he really needed to leave so he let go of her hand and in the dark corridor, he disappeared out of sight.

"I remember when he was just a young boy, mischievous and always mean. But now, he's grown into a great young man, isn't he?" The lady in the portrait was back again in her rightful place.

Hermione nodded in agreement. She couldn't totally recall when did she come back in the picture, or if she saw every cheesy things they did. Well, she doesn't care anymore.

All she knows is she loves Draco and he loves her. Nothing could go wrong as long as they're together.
