Chapter 8: Experiment

Eboni had sort of formed a plan with Bakugou, it was more like a deal though. If he agreed to be nice to her and try to work with her and her friendship with Deku, she'd try to push them together. Eboni had explained that (F/N) had it sent in her mind that Bakugou hated her all thanks to their last interaction, but that he could still fix it. One of the things Eboni suggested was that Bakugou train with them after school, but that Midoriya was going to be there and (F/N) enjoyed his company. However, the simple thought of (F/N) potentially being his pushed him to want to just deal with Deku.

"What?" (F/N) asked, as she reached for her stuff in her locker.

"You should ask Bakugou to join us for the after-school training. He's good friends with Kirishima and Kaminari."

"I mean, I would but he hates Midoriya... I having fun with them and the last thing I want is for Bakugou to not enjoy himself because Midoriya's there." As if on cue, Midoriya walked past them and Eboni grabbed his arm, pulling him towards them.

"Midoriya, how would you feel if Bakugou joined our after-school training sessions?"

"Oh, Kacchan? I think it would a great idea... but he doesn't like me too much and I'd hate to ruin the training sessions. I know both Kaminari and Kirishima don't mind. I guess I could take a couple of days off every now and then so he could join."

"No, we've got lots of training to do and it wouldn't be a good idea for you to just skip days." The (H/C) headed girl said.

"W-well ask him, he's coming this way," Midoriya said, using his thumb to point out Bakugou, who was walking with his head down and his hands buried in his pockets.

"I-I don't know. The last time I spoke to him, I only made him more upset." Eboni rolled her eyes, grabbed (F/N)'s arm and shoved her. The girl dropped her books as she tripped and flew right into the blond.

"HEY!" He yelled, catching her. His crimson red eyes wide in shock as the girl came out of nowhere. He was glad he had caught her in time.

"Oops," Eboni smirked as she looked at Midoriya, who only looked back at her with concern due to his previous experiences with Kacchan.

"S-sorry!" (F/N) panicked, but when she looked up at Bakugou, she saw that same loving look. He quickly looked down and pushed her gently to get her standing on her feet.

"I-it's fine. Just be careful." He was going to leave but she stopped him.

"W-would you l-like to join Midoriya, Kirishima, Kaminari and I in after-school training? W-we're working with Venus, Eboni, and Aeris to get better at hand to hand combat... not that you're bad or anything." Her heart was already racing, thinking she'd made a huge mistake.

"Uh, sure. I've seen what Aeris can do... seems interesting." He said, causing her head to shoot up and her eyes to make contact with his. Bakugou almost melted when her (E/C) orbs stared into his crimson ones, their eyes making contact just above her sunglasses. She almost immediately looked away, terrified she'd use her quirk again on accident.

"Oh great! Um... please d-don't be mean to Midoriya..." He just gave her a nod, not wanting to talk about that fool for another moment. With that, he walked away, agreeing to meet them in the courtyard. (Y/N) walked back to Midoriya and Eboni with a smile. "He said yes."
