Chapter 24: Possession

AN: Hiya! So, before starting this story I wanted the reader to have this ability I'm going to talk about... the thing is... I forgot to mention it >.< and then proceeded to completely forget about it. So I'm bringing it back and I was originally going to have it happen during the Stain fight (but the reader learns about it way before and starts to practice with it) but then I had changed my mind and was planning on having her use it during the Sports Festival and then I ended up making the reader not compete in the Sports Festival. If anyone's hella curious, I guess I could do a separate chapter where I'd show how the reader would perform in the Festival but it'll be long and redundant so I'd just be talking about her and no one else... also she's so OP with the warriors. Anyway, let's begin!

Currently, both (F/N) and Alessia were lounging around at the house before they were to meet up on school grounds for their training group. The group decided to continue training on the first day and relax the next day. During this time, both (F/N) and Alessia started talking about quirks, skills, and Alessia happened to mention something called Possession.

"I can what?!" (F/N) inquired, as she sat up in her bed. "W-wait why didn't you tell me about this?" 

"Well... truth be told, we kinda forgot," Alessia explained as she sat on (F/N)'s bed. "Also, it's only useful if you'd need multiple warriors or you guys desperately need our help. On top of that, it takes a bit of practice. Some times your body can reject us, so it'll throw us out. You have to practice so that doesn't happen during a fight."

"What do you mean if the guys need your help?"

"We can also possess your friends, if they want. We can force possessions too, but only during emergencies. For example, let's say your friends need Reynaud or someone's hurt but can't be in the area, we can possess them and take them away. There are two ways the possession can happen. One way is we can enter your body and you can use our abilities while we can talk to you or help you out. Another way is you going to "sleep" while we fight for you. This is more for if you can't fight a specific enemy or if you're fighting someone surrounded by dead bodies or something.

For your friends, it's the same. We can control their bodies or they can just use our abilities. Now, if someone passes out, we can possess them and take them away from the fight. Also, do you remember when Venus told you about Aeris and Mallyx?" Her master gave a nod. "Let's say, for example, Todoroki gets hurt, let's say he's got a hole in his stomach. If you had Aeris possess him, she can use Mallyx to protect him. Mallyx would keep him from bleeding out until he'd been through the necessary surgery. Same thing if he was poisoned or something. You can also summon us into your friends to lower energy consumption, because we don't need our bodies."

"That's amazing." The girl muttered. "And that seems pretty useful to me."

"Yeah but then Venus can't wear her armor, the one that emits her energy, that's pretty useful when she fights. And just because she can wield a greatsword doesn't mean you'll automatically know how to do it, either."

"So what do I get from her?"

"The enhanced speed, strength, and fear nullification and multiplication. That's it, unless you let her control your body. Then she can use the greatsword."

"Why can't I just let her do that all the time?"

"You can, technically. But then you'd be doing nothing and at one point, you'll start to feel useless. You'd just be a vessel for us."

"Hey... you think we can practice that today?" The girl inquired.

"I mean, we can. It just depends on what the group wants to focus on." The two decided to hold the conversation there and talk about something else. If the others wanted to, (F/N) wanted to play with this new ability. If it worked as well as Alessia mentioned, it could be extremely useful in a future situation.
