In a matter of 30 minutes we ended up going to four different places. First a random persons car, Cracker Barrel, a police mans car, and then at the police station.
Apparently after the girl in the bathroom fainted, as I was told, Tracy told her mom. Her mom didn't understand why her daughter would cut herself so she figured Tracy did it and called the cops. Apparently we were in cahoots with Tracy so we had to go with her.
After many protests we were seated in the back of a police car. We made sure to have our sleeves pulled down all the way.
When we arrived at the station we were taken to interrogation. For some reason we were all in the same room.
"What were you doing in the bathroom?" the police officer asked Tracy.
"I had to use it. "
"What did you see when you went in there?"
"The girl was bleeding?"
"Where was she bleeding?"
"Her arm."
"Why did you go in there again after you left? And why didn't you tell her mom right away?"
"The girl pushed me away and I heard a thud so I knew right away she fainted."
The conversation went on like this for a while. After arguing we were proven non guilty. We were just about to leave when the girls mom rushed in with a cop trailing behind her.
"I am so sorry officer. I blamed these children for my daughter when it turns out my daughter herself, is a lunatic and did those things to herself. I am very sorry office, and children."
I was not expecting to hear this. Hurting yourself does not make her daughter a lunatic. No wonder her daughter hurts herself.
I became so caught up in my thoughts I hadn't realized we were being driven back to Cracker Barrel by the women. Or so I thought.
We arrived at the hospital ten minutes later. I was confused why we were here and I think Anna realized that so she grabbed my hand and held it.
I automatically felt calm. I guess I really do like Anna. She makes me feel good about myself. She makes me want to love again.
Sort of.
We went up the elevator and walked down a hall to be greeted with door 615. The women opened it. We saw a girl sitting on the bed with a hospital gown on, and cuts all up her arm and legs. Her dad was yelling at her, but stopped in the middle when the door opened. A guy with shoulder length curly brown hair with blue eyes looked up at us as well. Maybe that's the girls boyfriend.
The girl on the other hand didn't budge. She closed her eyes and was sobbing.
"Emma!" Her mom shouted. Huh I guess I can call her by a name now.
The girls head jerked in our direction. She didn't seem to surprised by our presence, more scared of her mom.
"Ye-yes?" Her voice cracked.
I took that as a time to notice her appearance. She has blond hair with blue eyes. She look so frightened.
Not only frightened, but broken. My mind thought.
"You need to apologize to theses children right now! They went through so much only to not be the blame for this! apologize right now!"
"I-I'm sorry." Emma said.
This girl is really fucked up right now. Her mom is making her apologize for something she didn't do. If I was her, I'd shoot my mom in the face.
"No, don't worry it's ok!" Tracy smiled, assuring Emma.
"No it's not! Its not fair for her to blame you for this and almost get you in trouble!"
"She didn't blame us for anything. You just assumed that we did it so its basically your fault." Anna suddenly spoke up.
The next events that took place were something I'd never forget.
