The Secret Element Wolf

Chapter 3

    "Kiyiya, wake up!" I hear a familiar voice say. I slowly open my eyes and see Blaze standing above me. I growl and get up hesitantly.  

     I walk over to the kill pile and grab a bird. I pull it over to a spot unoccupied by wolves and begin eating, Blaze grabs a squirrel and sits down by me and begins eating.  

     "What's our test today?" I ask Blaze. "Strength, we have to fight." She replied happily. I laugh, Blaze has always loved fighting ever since we were pups. 

      I turn my head to where Conner and the other alphas are sitting. I look at all the alphas but I mainly focus on Conner, there was a strange vibe coming from him.

      "Kiyiya, come on the other wolves are lining up." I hear Blaze say. "Fine" I reply.

      Blaze and I get lined up and look where the alphas are. Conner gets up to speak. 

     "Today is your second test, you will fight a wolf. He says, excitement goes threw me.

    "I will pair you up because we want wolves to fight with equal strength or close to equal strength for your second test."

     He pairs everyone up but a few wolves including Blaze and I.

     My head shoots up when he says "Blaze is against Kiyiya." I look Conner in the eye and growl at him, he flinched back and avoided my gaze. 

     The next wolves get paired up and he then says "I forgot to add, no elements are allowed for this fight." 

     I watch all the wolves fight, until I hear its Blaze and I's turn. I walk onto the arena and Blaze walks on the opposite side.

     I growl at her and she growls back, she then jumps and tries to bite my shoulder, I dodge her attack and bite her side and pin her down. 

     She then whispers to me "I know I'm weaker I will just be disqualified, its okay." I whine and then let my grip fade and she wiggles out of my grip. 

     I growl and start walking toward her, she slowly backs up and keeps backing up until I hear Conner's voice say "Blaze has been disqualified for crossing the arena line."

     

      Blaze and I walk to where the other wolves are. "Did I hurt you? Oh my gosh, I'm a terrible friend, are you okay?' I say to Blaze with worry. She giggles and says "I'm fine, are you okay?" "Yes I'm fine." I reply.

     Conner comes up to speak when everyone is finished fighting. "Many of you did very well. Tomorrow you will have your third and final test. Eat and rest. I wish you all good luck." He then walks off to where the other alphas are. 

     Blaze and I walk over to the kill pile and drag out a deer and begin eating.

      I look at Conner, the vibe was there again, telling me to go to him. I growl and turn my head back to Blaze.  

      

      Before I could say anything to Blaze I hear a voice say "May I join your group?" I turn my head only to see Conner there. "Sure" Blaze said smiling. Thank gosh.

     Conner sits down and begins eating his meal. Curiosity was killing me so I say to Conner "What pack are you the alpha for?"  He smiles and says "The Pack of Rising Flames." Fear and excitement go threw me.

     I must of been staring at my food because Blaze says "Are you okay?" I look up at Blaze and reply "Sure, just thinking." 

    

     When we all finished our meals, Conner went back to were the alphas are and Blaze and I talked and talked for hours. 

     It was getting dark and Blaze says "Wanna explore?" I yawn and say "Sure why not?" 

     Blaze and I get up and walk into the forest, familiar scents fill my nose. "It's nice out here." Blaze says. "Ya" I agree. 

     We hear a twig snap and we both turn and growl, we see Conner there. "What the hell?" Blaze says to Conner. "You aren't supposed to leave the clearing." He says in his alpha voice. 

    

     Blaze flinched and steps back and dips her head. I turn my head to Blaze and stare in confusion. His voice didn't work on me but it worked on Blaze. 

     "Come on Blaze." I say and Blaze lifts her head and we walk back to the clearing.

      "It didn't work on you." She says in confusion. "How?" I look at her, I could lie or tell her. I decided to lie, "I don't know." I say quickly, she nods her head. 

     Blaze yawns and says, "I'm going to bed, good night." I nod and look at the moon. It's a full moon today. "Good night" I say to myself and I lay down and fall asleep.
