The Secret Element Wolf

Chapter 8

Dream~

     "Tell me!" I yell to the rouge. "Never" she snarls. "Why?" I snarl back. "Because, you stupid beta wolf!" she replies. "What is wrong with you!?" I say.

      Her eyes then turn a purplish blue and she gets larger and she growls a deep growl, then she springs at me.

End of dream~

     I wake up and slowly open my eyes. I yawn and get up. That was a really weird dream, wait that reminds me, I have to go check on the rouge.

     I walk slowly out of my den and then walk over to hers. She was watching me come over too her. Out of curiosity, I ask her "Hey, what's your name?" She growls and then I ask again "What's your name?"

     "Not telling you" she replies, ugh stupid rouge. "Seriously? What is your name?" I say and she shakes her head. "What's your name?" she says in a mocking voice.

     "Excuse me?" I reply and she laughs and says "Look who's talking" I growl and she smirks. "Now, listen to me, if you were a smart beta, you would expect this!" She slips out of the grass were there was a weak spot and she turns toward me. Her eyes then turn purplish blue and she gets larger and she growls, a deep growl. Then she leaps on top of me.

     She is holding me down using her secret ability, and she has froze me. She then bites my neck and holds on tight. Oh hell to the no, does she think she can really take me?

     I try to unfreeze myself, but it doesn't work. I just lay there and she bites harder and harder, my vision goes blurry at the edges and I feel weaker. No! This can't be happening, something clicks inside of me and I burst into flames and she releases and I am no longer frozen.

  

     "Back off" I growl in a deep voice, a really deep voice. The rouge stands her ground, and snarls at me. I jump at her, the rouge's eyes full surprise as I unexpectedly pounce on her. I grab her by the scruff, and with an odd burst of power, fling her across the clearing. She smacks into the tree with a loud yelp of pain, and slides to the ground. The rouge was as still as a tree with no wind blowing through it. She slowly shrunk back into her previous form, not moving from her spot on the ground. I took the opportunity to drag the white and blue wolf back into her den. 

    The flames die down and finally go away, this is my secret ability. It's exactly like Conner's but fire instead. That's odd. Oh well, I have to go check on Spirit anyway.

     I walk over to Spirit's den and I see her in there. When she hears me she looks up and wags her tail slightly. I move away some grass and slip in, I can fix that later.

     "Spirit" I say and look at her and she drops her head in respect. I whine, I don't know if I want to see her like this anymore. "Spirit, listen to me, your getting out of here. I'll leave with you, the sooner the better." She looks up with shock written all over her face and then she says "Do you accept me?"  I nod and she wags her tail.

     I move some more grass away and I get out. I look around and when it's clear I say "Now" She then gets out. We then run to the edge of my territory. Am I really going to leave this behind just to be with my sister? Yes I am.

     "Come on" I say and we cross the territory. I hear wolves behind me saying "The rouge escaped!" and me, I think. Spirit and I keep running away from the territory.

     I turn around while I am running, and I see Conner at the edge of the territory smiling. I stop running and keep looking at him, he keeps smiling, I walk up to him and he throws the other rouge to me and says "Take her with you" He then licks the side of my face and I nod slightly confused, I turn back around and catch up with Spirit, while dragging the other, slightly bloody rouge.

Conner's POV

     I wake up and yawn. I slowly get up and walk out of my den. Kiyiya is going to go check on the rouge, so I am going to go hunt.

     I walk over to the forest and look for some prey, I sniff the ground and find the scent of a deer. I follow the scent until I see the deer. I hide behind the bushes and think, which element should I use? I decided to use fire, so I shot a fire ball at the deer and she falls to the ground.

     I grab her leg and drag her back to my territory. I drop her next to the kill pile and then I hear wolves howling "The rouge is gone" I quickly follow the rouge's scent and I smell that Kiyiya's is mixed in it. I past the other rouges den and saw she was knocked out, blood covering her side. Kiyiya's scent was tangled up on her fur. I decide the other rouge deserves to be free too. I grabbed her scruff and dragged her as I ran.

     I follow the scent all the way to the edge of the territory, I see Kiyiya running, she turns and looks at me. She then stops running and walks up to me. I can help but smile at the sight of her escaping, she may not know it, but she is a secret element wolf. If she is a rouge, she will never be caught and they won't kill her.

   I throw the other rouge at her and say "Take her with you"  and then I lick the side of her face. This is probably the last time I will ever see her. She gives me a confused look but then she nods, she then quickly catches up with the rouges.

      "You can make it" I think, as I see her tail disappears into the thick forest.
