The Secret Element Wolf

Chapter 7

     I wake up and yawn. I slowly get up and I see Conner, I walk over to him and say "Hey, what are we doing today?" He smiles and replies "We are doing secret abilities" I wag my tail and then walk over to the kill pile. I grab a baby deer and drag it to a spot unoccupied by any wolves.

     Conner grabs a bird and sits down next to me. "Whats your secret ability?" I ask him. He smirks and replies "You have to wait and see." I hit him with my tail and he fake gasps at me and I laugh. "Your such a baby" I say playfully. He smirks and shakes his head, he then says "Come on" I get up and follow him to a small clearing.

     He calls our pack and then when everyone arrives he says "Welcome, today, you will learn some things about yourself, you will learn about special abilities, when you use these abilities you are stronger and you have a power, here let me show you" He then closes his eyes and when he opens them his fur is dark blue. He smirks and takes a few steps forward, ice trails behind him.

     I look at him in shock and he smirks at me. I shake my head and laugh. "Now all of you, you may take the rest of the day to figure out your ability, it may take time, but trust me, all you need is patience and practice." Conner says.

     I walk off to a place where no other wolves are. I close my eyes and focus. I can do this!  After awhile, I have discovered nothing, I get so mad I shoot a lightning bolt at the ground. 

     I shake my head in frustration and I howl, why isn't this working!? I then feel something and I look at my fur, the tip of my tail turns red, but right when I wasn't mad it went away.

     Oh, so when I'm mad I get my ability, but what is my ability? I walk over to Conner and ask him "How did you get your ability?" He smiles and says "Well, it took awhile, I didn't get the ability at first.  I got it when I was really mad, but once after I got it I could use it whenever I wanted too, even when I'm not mad."

     Oh, so he's like me, should I tell him? No. 

     "Why were you wondering?" He asks. "No reason" I reply quickly and I run back to the spot where I was practicing. I sniff the air and smell a familiar scent. Whats that? I follow the scent threw the woods and toward the edge of my territory. I hear voices and I crouch low into the bushes.

      "Why beta?" I hear a male say "Because I said so" A familiar female voice barks angrily. "I love you, hurry" Another familiar female voice says.  I gulp, I know those voices.

     "Intruder!" A male says, I growl and get out of the bushes and look at the wolves. I give them a glare that says "Come closer, your dead." The beta growls at me and I turn my head toward her. It felt like everything stopped, she was a white and blue wolf. "Spirit" I say in shock, anger and sadness.

     "Kiyiya" She replies. I look at the other female, Midnight. "Screw you" I growl at Midnight, she wines and steps back. "Kiyiya, why are you here?" My sister says with tears forming in her eyes, she betrayed me, she attacked my pack, I will not accept her as my sister. 

     "No, Spirit you betrayed me and my pack and your not my sister, I deny you!" I growl in a fierce tone. She doesn't back down and that replies "Kiyiya, why are you doing this? I'm your freaking sister! I'm alive!" I shake my head and say "No your not, and you will never be my sister again." I turn around and run back toward den with tears in my eyes, but before I could make it to my den I am tackled.

     "Please, Kiyiya, listen to me! I'm your sister, please don't leave me! I love you. Kiyiya, I need you, please." She says with tears going down her face, yes, I wanted to forgive her, but seriously? She attacks MY pack and then acts like she dead for, how long was it? Oh ya, 16 years!

     "Conner!" I yell and he runs toward me and when he sees Spirit he tackles her. "We should capture her." I bark and he nods, he calls some wolves over and they drag Spirit toward a den that is exactly like the other den that the other rouge is staying in.

     "I saw Midnight, but I think she ran off again" I say to Conner when him and I were walking to our dens. "Really? Is there that many rouges?" He asks me and I nod my head, "I think they are starting a pack and will try to take over." I say and he thinks for a moment and replies "I'll start training our strongest wolves, so if they attack us, we are prepared." I nod my head and say "Am I in that group?" He nods his head and I smile and then walk to my den.

     I need sleep, today was chaotic and crazy, I walk to the corner of my den and spin around three times and plop down on the floor and slowly drift off to sleep.
