The Secret Element Wolf

Chapter 9

     I walk through the woods and I smell a bunch of wolves ahead. I quickly hide in the bushes and give the rouge and Spirit a look that says, you better hide.

    Spirit and the rouge hide in the bushes and we look at the wolves ahead, The Night Star Pack. I see Blaze ahead talking to some she-wolf and a pang of jealously goes threw me. 

     I hear wolves howling and I look up, oh shit they spotted us. I get out of the bushes and Spirit and the rouge follow. The other wolves drag us toward our new dens, the jail cells.

     They throw us into the den so I growl at them and they flinch. I then see Blaze walk up to my den and look at me. I look at her and and she looks at the weaved grass and back at me, I nod my head.

     When all the wolves leave Blaze she starts moving the grass apart. When she almost moved enough, their was a growl behind her. She turns around and sees Knight, the alpha of The Night Star Pack.

     In fear Blaze stays frozen and Knight walks up to her and grabs her by the neck and throws her to the ground. I stare in shock when Knight starts beating her. 

     "You should die! You worthless wolf" He yells at her and he starts biting down on her neck. I can't take this anymore, I allow my secret ability to come and I slip out of the very small hole that Blaze has made and I tackle Knight. 

     I let the flames surround us and he yelps in pain, before I know it I am tackled by a gray wolf. "Good work Shanti" I hear Knight say. I growl and then I am sprayed by water, I turn my head and see a water wolf.

    "Thanks, Alica" I hear Shanti say. Suddenly, Shanti bites down hard on my neck and lifts me up and throws me and I hit a tree. I yelp in pain and slowly get up, slight dizzy I run after Shanti and tackle her.

     She yelps in surprise, but quickly recovers and flips us over so she is on top. "Any last words?" She says with a smirk. I reply with "Ya, I hope you die" After I said that she is suddenly lifted up by vines, slightly confused, I look around and see the vines coming from my paws.

     Wait, what? How is that possible? I snap out of my thoughts and look at Shanti, and I say "Any last words?" She just yelps in reply.

     "Try to shoot a fire ball" I hear a voice say, who said that? I guess it doesn't matter, I do what it says and I try, surprisingly a fire ball hits Shanti. 

     She howls in pain, and I stare in shock, did I just do that? No, that's not possible! Secret Element Wolves are gone! They died years ago! I can't be one, I just can't!

     "Believe it" That voice says again and I shake my head, what the hell is with this voice anyway? I snap out of my thoughts when I hear Spirit yelp, I turn my head and run toward her, suddenly aware that the vines went away. I turn my head and see Shanti fall, she doesn't get up and their is no movement coming from her, oops.

     I turn back toward Spirit and I see the rouge with her, both of them are covered in blood and Knight is dead on the floor, I did not see that coming.

     I see Blaze trot up to me and say "I'm leaving with you" I smile and wag my tail and playfully nuzzle her, she nuzzles me back. "Mind introducing me to your friends?" She asked.

        "This is my sister Spirit, and..." I pause, not knowing the other rouges name.

        

        The blue and white wolf sighed, " It's Frost..."

        "Wait Spirit is alive!" Blaze howls in shock.

        "It's a long story I'll explain later" I laugh.

     "Blaze is coming with us" I say to Spirit and Frost and they nod, all three of them follow me out of The Night Star Pack's territory. "Where should we go?" I hear Spirit say and before I could reply a very familiar voice says "The south" I turn around and see Conner. "You followed us" I barely manage to say, ever since he licked me, I have been nervous to talk to him.

     "Yes I did, the pack thought I would betray them, because you did" He replies, I suddenly feel guilty so I turn my head away. He walks up to me and nuzzles me, then he gives me a look that says I'm glad about it.

     I nod and Conner says "Well, come on, we should go to the south and start a pack." All four of us nod and we follow him, walking south.

    I don't know what to expect when we get there. I'm scared honestly, I mean, I could die at any second. I look at Conner and all my fear goes away. There is something odd about him. I don't know it yet, but I hope to find out. I walk over to him and walk at his side.

    He smiles and walks closer to me. Our fur is now touching and I know that I can make it. Only if I am with him.
