The Secret Element Wolf

Chapter 5

   I wake up and look where I am, my den. I get up and stretch and walk out of my den.

    Midnight walks up to me and says "Alpha Conner wants us to meet up by the kill pile." I nod my head and walk over to the kill pile.

     Once everyone was there Conner says "Welcome, I have called this meeting to tell you some things we do differently then your old pack." I tilt my head, what can a pack do different?

     "You will fight every member of your pack until there is one wolf standing, that wolf will be the beta. Any wolves below would be the lower ranking members of this pack, because we are a new pack and you guys are the first wolves for our pack!"

   

Flashback~ 

     "Hey daddy!" I bark happily. "Hey sweetie, guess what?" He replies happily. "What?" I say with curiosity, My dad smiles and says "Since your older then Spirit you will be the next Beta for the pack!" 

     "Daddy, your the Beta not me." I say to him confused. "Sweetie, when I had you, you were promised with the spot when you get older because I will get too old." He says.  "Oh, well then, thank you daddy!" I reply happily.

End of flashback~

     "We will start fighting as soon as possible, so start!" He barks loudly. I turn my head and see wolves fighting everywhere, I look behind me and see a wolf coming at me, I dodge and tackle that wolf.

     She scratches at my chest and I try to bite her neck, when I finally reach her neck, I bite until she gives up.

     I get up and run to attack another wolf, the wolf spots me and tackles me. I howl in pain and try to get free, but she has me pinned down with no mercy. 

     She grabs my neck and bites down hard, I will not lose this way, I shoot lightning at her feet and she yelps and falls back. I growl and walk up to her to finish her, but she yelps and says "I give up, I give up!"

    I walk around and look for another wolf, mostly all the wolves are hiding. I finally find a wolf that's not hiding.

     I run over to that wolf and try to tackle him, but he quickly dodges my attack. I turn to look at him and he just stands there.

     I growl and try to tackle him again, but he dodges again. I look at him again, this was my weakness. I calm myself down and stand like he is.

     This time he charges after me, I don't dodge or anything, I take the hit full on. He seemed a little shocked and I took this to my advantage.

     I twisted around and bite his neck until he wines in pain and tries to escape. He shoots fire everywhere trying to hit me, but his aim is terrible.

     He finally whines and gives up. I smile in victory and before I could do anything, I was tackled. 

     I howl in pain, this hurt bad. "Let go of me!!!!" I yell to the wolf that tackled me. "Never" She snarled. 

     My vision started to go blurry, and I let out a small whimper, my opponent loosens her grip a bit and I use that.

     My opponent was about to let go and I twist around and pin her to the ground. She stares at me in shock and I smirk. "Back off" I growl in a fierce tone. She wines and says "Okay, okay, I'm sorry!" I get off of her and smirk in victory.

     When I look around, wolves cower in fear. Am I really that scary? "Fight, or you leave my pack!" Conner says to all the hiding wolves. They all come out one by one. 

      I see Midnight get tackled by a sand wolf. He wins, then comes after me, I tackle him and growl a very deep growl, Midnight is my friend and he just attacked her!

     "You never touch her again!" I spat at him. "Or what?" He growls back, "Simple, I will kill you and make it look like an accident!" I yell. He whines and summits to me. I accept his summit and get off of him. 

     I look around and I'm the only wolf standing. Pride fills my face, I won! Conner walks up to me and says "Congrats Beta!" and then he looks at every other wolf with a challenging glare, none choose to fight me.  

     "Alright then, everyone follow me." He orders and we all follow him to the middle of the territory where the kill pile usually is. "I will name all of your rankings now." 

     He tells everyone their ranking, the lead hunter is Luna, the hunters are Moon, Fang, Flash, Star, Flame, Faolan, Maylie, Kaila, Shine, Eclipse, and Alexia. The patrol dogs are Lucky, Bella, Mulch, Tanya, Keaton, Aubrey, Christina, Spark, Accaila, Storm, and Tundra. 

     "Congrats!" he barks to all the wolves. "There is one more spot and one more wolf, Midnight you are the Omega." He barks with a laugh. I shoot him a glare and he stops laughing, I love this beta ranking!

     "Go to your dens." I bark to all the wolves and they walk off. Conner turns to me and says "What the hell? You just helped that pathetic omega! Your better than that!" I growl and reply "She is my friend, that's why!" Conner shakes his head and then replies "Not for long, you guys will drift apart, trust me." 

     I just stared at him, is he right? I avert my gaze. "Follow me Kiyiya, you have a new den."  He says a little bit softer and I nod my head.

     I follow him and I see two dens, their both huge, "I have the right one, yours is the left." he says to me. I quickly run to the left one, my new den, that is huge, yay!

     I hear some wolves yelling and walk out of my den to where all the yelling is. "What is it?" I say in an assertive voice. "Rouges, and lots of them." Midnight says in a worried tone.

    Well this should be great....
