Genesis💥I can't wait till I graduate so I can get the fuck up outta here. This was my first and last year at this school and I already don't like it. It's overrun with groupie females and lame niggas that have already tried to get at me, as if I would actually give them the time of day. The only thing decent were the teachers. They're...okay. I guess. Well some of them, I haven't met all yet. Overall, I just feel like this is going to be a school year where I wind up going the fuck off on any and everybody.
I was so engrossed in my own thoughts, that I didn't even peep the girl who recently just sat in front of me, trying to get my attention.
"Wassup?" I asked snapping out of it as I looked the girl up and down. I probably just came off as rude but I honestly wasn't even trying to.
"Hey girl. I'm Jacuelyn. You looked a little lonely so I was wondering if you wanted to sit over there with me and my folks," She said motioning to a table in the back where two other girls and one guy sat. I quickly took notice of her high-pitched voice, which started to get on my nerves already. Besides her having an annoying ass voice though, she was cute. I mean she looked like the typical light skin girl with the long, type 3 curly hair and light colored eyes that gained hundreds of thousands of Instagram followers solely on their looks, but she was cute.
"Nah I'm good. Y'all can come over here though." I responded. She nods and motions for her friends to join us. I shift around in my chair, gaining a little anxiety. I'm not good at conversing with people at all, so nine times out of ten this conversation is going to go left, resulting in more enemies on my behalf.
"Okay so these are my girls Shyele, AnnMarie, and this my homeboy Cleveland," Jacuelyn introduced. They all said wassup and I couldn't help but to wonder why this nigga Cleveland was looking at me the way he was. Like he was infatuated with me or some shit. He was cute or whatever, but it ain't that type of party. I'll address it later though. I don't feel like ruining potential friendships right now.
"Uh hi. I'm Genesis." I told them as I did a little wave. "I'm not used to people being around me like that so excuse me if I come off as awkward."
"Nah girl it's all good. I used to be the same way. Till I came around these mu'fuckas." Shyele spoke referring to the others at the table. I laugh a little, even though nothing she said was funny.
"So how you liking this school so far," Jacuelyn asked me.
I made a face resembling disgust eliciting them to laugh. "I mean it's cool. I guess."
"You talk to any of the niggas here? Or bitches. Hey, whatever floats your boat," AnnMarie questioned. No one knew about Khalil and I except for anyone who saw us this morning.
"Damn bitch you nosey," I say. The girls laugh but I was deadass. Cleveland stayed silent, waiting to hear my answer. "But to answer your question, no. I'm not talking to anyone at the moment. Ain't nobody interesting to me."
I didn't need all these hoes knowing my business. Hell, we ain't friends yet.
"No cap," Shyele nods.
"Shiid the answer to your prayers could be right in front of you," Cleveland cockily comments with a shrug, referring to himself.
