I have pity parties way too often,
When everything goes wrong.
It isn't right to have these get togethers,
To which all of them end in disaster.
Yes, I'm hurt from all the things that have gone on,
Considering the events weren't the worst things to ever happen.
That's no reason to throw these surprises,
Inside my self-pitying mind.
It's not always the other person's fault,
When something terrible happens to me personally.
I'm sorry for blaming the ones that did nothing wrong,
Just so I can throw myself a pity party.
