Love isn't an object,
As most people think it is.
Love isn't something to be tossed aside,
After you use someone for your own needs.
Love isn't just a word,
It's an action.
You show love in the way you act,
And in the way where you help others that aren't yourself.
Love isn't an object,
It's what we as humans take out of proportion.
And it's sad to me,
Because generations are starting to not understand,
That love isn't just an object.
