Logann's POV
"Darling can I talk to you?" Asked my mother as she entered my room "Sure why?" I responded as I sat up on my bed. I could tell by how she poked her head into the room and spoke softly that it was important.
"Not here." She whispered as if she didn't want someone to hear us talking. I arched my now silver eyebrow and cocked my head to the side. "Where do you want to go then?" I asked her. "The roof. The sun is setting now so we could talk up there and watch the moon rise. Ya know like we used to before? " Suggested the blonde woman.
I looked down. I missed those time more than anything really. When I was younger my mother, father and I used to watch the moon rise. To me it was the most beautiful thing in the world. And my father would say " Logann you shine brighter than the moon. Infact your a shining star." And my mother made up a song about it. It went like this. "Shining star up high in the sky glowing on the world with your light. Making sure that we're all safe, the moon is jealous of you it's true. Sitting, staring wishing it were you. Shining star, shining star." And we would sing along with her.
That song had a heavy influence one me. A good one. Stars were the main type of magic that I used. I even made a spell based of the song. I smiled at the memory. But then my eyes darkened. Shining Star was the spell that I used to.....nevermind.
"Sure." I said again. I felt happy that we were going to talk one more time before I leave. I stood up and smiled at her. "Let's go." I told her happily.
We began to walk. When we finally got to the roof we both took a seat. The head of the moon was poking out a little bit. "Before you go I wanted to talk to you." She stated. "Okay." I replied nervous about what she was going to say. "I have alot to say so please don't interrupt me." She said again. We both looked at the star filled sky.
"In your crown is your soul. The main jewel. Please for your mother always wear it. You must keep it safe at all times. I have a feeling something is going to happen and when it does I want to know you have it with you." She pleaded. My eyes went wide in shock. My mother never pleaded for anything. I nodded. "Of course mom." I replied in shock. "If you don't feel comfortable wearing it then you should know that it changes shape. You could make it a hat, anything really. When you go to the DWMA it won't be easy. You're a witch. Students might try to fight you. I know you've never had to actually get serious in a fight but be careful. As long as you have been my daughter I've never seen you actually go all out. Also I don't care how much someone pisses you of you can't kill them. They aren't other witches a single fire spell could kill them easily. You understand?" Said my mother the serious tone in her voice gone.
I chuckled. "Yes mom." "Remember to call everyday and keep your fiance happy." She added. My face turned red at 'keep your fiance happy.' "M-mom!" I exclaimed giggling a bit. "What? I'm serious." She giggled. "Be a good wife. Make sure of it. They say a good wife to a happy husband makes amazing children." She continued. "Children? Come on mom!" I laughed again.
"I can see it now!" She exclaimed leaning against me. She wrapped her arm around my shoulder and put her other arm out. "Thirty three grand babies for me! And they all run around happily all day while their parents are making more children!" She laughed again. "Come on cut it out!" I couldn't stop laughing.
"Make sure to buy lots of lace undies so he'll be excited! Escpically at your wedding!" She exclaimed. I put my hand on her face and pushed her backwards. "Your so weird!" I responded. She began making kissy faces at me. "I'm gonna miss you as a virgin." She said. "It's not like not being a virgin will change me mom." I told her.
"It changed me for the better." She sang out. "Ahhhh I don't wanna know about how I was created!" I told her. "But seriously can I tell you something? Your father was just like Death The Kid. Bercus is like your father because you made him that way but him? That's him all on his own. Doesn't like it when your constantly in his business. His wedding vows were " Your loud, and always have your nose in my business and a complete weirdo but you know when to back off and what to do and say so... I guess you'll be an okay wife. And you make good lasagna. Oh, and I love you I guess." I was so shocked. I couldn't contain my tears of joy because you know better than anyone that your father always insulted everyone and gave praise where it was deserved."
"Those really were his vows?" I asked in shock. "Yep! I was so happy that I didn't even say mine I just kissed him. Even the priest was shocked." She remarked. "If he doesn't really love you than he doesn't deserve you." She informed me. "So does that mean-" I began hopefully. "No. You can't get a divorce. Your marriage is part of the seal." She told me. "Oh." I said looking down. "But I never said that you two can't have an open relationship." She said smiling. I gasped in shock.
Third person POV
"Any tips?" Asked the silver haired girl to her mother. "On marrige or sex? Because I have alot on both of them belive me." The older woman said back. "Marriage. What do I do of he's upset? Or if something happens?" She asked her mom. "Well don't use magic to calm him down. Definitely don't do that. I've learned that it's best to see what type of situation it is. If he's angry at you then you can argue back. Actually..." Her mother stopped talking and stood up. "I'll be right back." She walked of the roof and returned ten minutes later with a box.
Reaching into the box she pulled out a blue folder. She extended it to her daughter. "These are all my methods for when your father got angry. Use them. They will be helpful I promise. My personal favorite is the darling method." She smiled at the younger female.
"Darling method?" Said the young witch. "Yes. I guarentee that you will have to use it one day." Remarked the Grandwitch as her daughter opened the thick folder. She began to flip through the pages until she reached the 'D' section and then some more until she found it.
In the event of your husband storming out you should run after him. If he's going too fast then call out "D-darling slow down!" There is a seventy percent chance it will work. If it doesn't then take off your shoe and throw it at the back of his head.
The blue eyed girl looked up at her mother. The blonde woman looked at her daughter. "And that box is?" She asked. "All the things that were important for me to be married to your hard headed father." Both witches giggled. A few hours later the sun began to rise.
"Hey mom? When will I marry him?" Asked the girl. "Well. You'll be allowed to have sex in my book at sixteen so any time after than. But your a year younger than him. You know what just whenever you feel like it." Said the woman letting out a sleepy yawn. She hadn't noticed the sun had started to rise.
"You're leaving in a few hours my love. Please remember everything that we talked about. And if not the most important thing you must remeber is keep your fiance happy." Said the woman giving her daughter a smile.
