i quickly grasp sam's hand as we pass john mackentop and his new girlfriend, amanda shurley who stood next to karen. they were propped up against the wall, watching those who walked by.
"trash." i hear someone mumble in a cough. a dirty look makes its way on my face as i turn to karen. sam tugs on my hand, attempting to stop me. "what was that?" i ask.
her eyes widen slightly for a second, but plays it off as she did nothing. "what was what?" she forces out a laugh. i mock her laugh, "if you're really gonna call me trash, at least look at what you're wearing." i shake my head in disapproval.
she scoffs, "you're a bitch."
i shake my head, laughing at her statement. "no, i'm not. we were perfectly fine until you started to be a bitch." karen huffs and i felt her agitation rubbing off of her.
"i was being a bitch, because like i said before, you're trash." she crosses her arms into her chest, a small smirk on her lips. my lips stayed straight as i look into her eyes. "calling me trash? maybe you should stop digging through clothes at the local dumpster and maybe you'd actually find something that doesn't deserved to be tossed."
i turn on my heels, grabbing sam's hand again. "bye, karen!" i fake a smile as i wave at her with my free hand. once we weren't in hearing distance with them, sam let's out a laugh he was holding.
"damn."
"what?" i scoff. he shakes his head, "that was hot." he smirks. i roll my eyes, flipping him off with my other hand. "shut up."
he chuckles, "i'm serious, you're hot when you're mad."
he looks behind us, then turns back to me, "i'm kissing you now." he announces, grabbing my face and attaching his lips with mine before i had a say. i close my eyes, feeling his soft lips on top of mine. i wrap my arms around his neck, bringing him in closer.
"you can't take 3 seconds off each other's mouths?"
i lightly push him off, turning around to see andrea rolling her eyes with a small smile plastered on her lips. "i hate you."
"you love me. anyways, where's shey?" she asks, looking around the mall, her hand intertwined with chad's. "she told me that she was on a date with someone. i don't know who, i didn't ask." sam said from besides me.
my eyes widen on my face as i look up to him. "you didn't bother to ask? sam! this is big news, she didn't even have us there to drop her off, or help her get ready. oh my, god. i feel so bad." i declare, my voice stressing with each word.
he sucks air into his teeth, "yeah, i didn't think about that."
i shook my head. "you boys are just stupid." andrea says from besides me. i nod my head in agreement, glaring up at my fake boyfriend. "i'm sorry!" he apologizes, putting his hands up in surrender.

the next day, i took shey and andrea our for breakfast. andrea and i wanted to know everything that happened with shey's date.
i took a sip of my water, my eyes staring at shey's face as she began to speak. "okay, so mike asked me out. and, i said yes. but, i don't know if it's because he wants to have sex again. guys, i really fucking like him." shey whines as she spoke.
"well, maybe he genuinely likes you." i suggest, looking straight at my two best friends. "like, seriously. he had sex with you because he clearly shows interest, maybe he wants something more than just having sex."
she shrugs her shoulders in doubt, "i don't know."
i shake my head as a small smile appears on my lips, "invite him to hang out with you, this weekend. maybe shey and chad can hang out also, in case it's awkward. but, i doubt it will be since you guys went on a date last night." i tell her.
she shrugs again, furrowing her eyebrows. "why can't you and sam come?" she asks.
i roll my eyes, taking another sip of my water. "my family and his family want to go camping or something."
andrea and her raise their eyebrows, "camping? like tent camping or just cabin camping?" andrea asks.
i give her a look, tilting my head to the side slightly. "obviously tent camping, idiot."
"well, that means your family support the two of you dating. they're trying to do things for the two of you. this is good news!" shey says, a large smile on her lips.
i chuckle, only if they knew. but, i nod nonetheless. "i guess that's true."
"of course it is!"
a short laugh escapes my throat, "okay!"
shey smiles, "i'm happy for the three of us. you two are happily in a relationship, and i might be coming into my own. it's what we deserve."
andrea nods, wrapping one of her arms around her shoulder. "you're right, girl. we all deserve to be happy."
