Chapter 6: The Truth

It was the weekend and I just stayed home all day. I didn't want to go anywhere especailly after what happened with Collin and him almost raping me. I couldn't tell anyone becaus ethey just wouldn't understand anything that I'm going through right now not even my own mother would understand considering she doesn't talk much since dad died. I really miss my dad he was the one I could count on for everything. We would talk for hours about anything and he would always make me feel a whole lot better, but now I have no one to count on.

The days at practice could have been better, but I've just been destracted from everyone. The guys on the team even Luke try to talk to me, but I brush them off and just ignore them. I kept to myself just because I felt like no one cared about me and everyone just wanted to hurt me or take advantage of me. I just couldn't take that chance again not after Collin. I was really staring to love it here, but ever since I've gotten here I've just made the biggest mistakes of my life.

I was sitting at home doing my homework after practice when I heard someone knocking on the door. I got up to see who it was and it was someone I was not expecting at all. It was Luke. I really didn't want to talk to him. He smiled and said, "Hey."

"Ummm... hey. What are you doing here?" I asked looking around.

"I wanted to see if you were okay. I noticed you've been acting a little werid and not like your self. So I was wondering if you wanted to go for a ride real quick?"

"Well I have alot of homework to do."

"It won't take that long I promise you that."

I took a deep breath and let it out and then said, "Fine I guess it won't hurt."

He got happy and then I got in his truck and we rode off. I had no idea where I was going, but Luke knew exactly where we were going.

We finally came to a stop and I knew exactly where we were. This is where Luke and I had our first kiss and when he told me about his brother and the others. I looked at him and said, "This is where we-"

"Had our first kiss." He interrupted me. "Yeah it sure is."

"Why did you bring me here?"

"Oh I don't know. Maybe to bring back the memories that we have had together even though we haven't had very many."

"Luke be honest why did you really bring me here?" He didn't speak, so I asked, "You want to know what happened between me and Collin, don't you?"

"Look I just want to know why you went out with him when I thought you hated him. I mean you were hanging out with our rivals and that looks really bad for us."

"Nothing happened between me and Collin and besides if something did why would I tell you.I mean you surely don't care since you've been hanging out with Nikki."

"What do you mean? I do care about you and always will. Nikki means nothing to me, I promise."

"You are such a liar. There is something going on with you and Nikki. I know you two use to date, there's no hiding that."

"I'm not hiding it. How can you call me a liar when your lying about Collin. I know you two did stuff."

"How would you know that?"

"Because Collin has been telling everyone that he got into your pants." I was shocked that Collin is actually saying that. "So don't lie to me Chelsea just tell me the truth and I will be fine with whatever it is."

"You want to know the truth well I'll tell you. He tried to have sex with me, but I wouldn't let him. He then tried to force me into doing it with him, but I still wouldn't let him. Okay, are you happy now? That you got the answer you've been looking for. This is exactly the reason I've been acting different around everyone. I hope your happy with the answer you got. Next time you won't listen to the rumors that you hear." I got so mad that I ran away. I didn't want to listen to a word he would say next. I was too upset and I needed to run it off. I hope he was happy with the truth.

I know it's been a while I just couldn't think what to write next with this story. I also know it's really short, but don't worry the next chapter will be longer and better, I promise.
