Chapter 16

It was night. I walked out of the dorm and walked towards the sea. The sand was cold, yet warm.

"Uriel."

A figure in golden light suddenly appeared in front of me.

"You called?"

"How?"

*Laughs softly* "Did you forget you swore the oath and swore your allegiance to me, and I gave you my blessings? Naturally we can communicate with each other."

Something was different, his smile wasn't a fake nor a sadistic one. It was a warm and caring one. I didn't know what to say.

"What would you do if you were living your life at the happiest, and your past enemies you hate, came back straight from hell? What if they are planning to destroy your happiness?"

"No one would be able to defeat me, obviously."

"But.. what if?"

I didn't realise that I was trembling and I just started crying. It was a sorrowful night.

Uriel suddenly kissed me and placed my head on his shoulders. I didn't know what to do, I just kept on crying. I told him about everything.

"I knew from the very start, that Ciar Ozul Lor Noctis wasn't my true father. It was on Spring, when I was 14, I fainted while bathing. I had a dream, Lucifer, ever heard of him?"

"You don't mean?"

"'He showed up and said this to me: Soliel, join my side. Afterall, don't you want to see your big brother once again?'

 I was hesitant, but I knew he was of no good. I decided to break the dream to run away from him. While I tried to break the dream, he tried to take control of my body. In fact, he told me he needed me to get something in heaven. Out of desperation, I decided to use my power of Time to reverse Fate to escape to the closest universe. The price I had to pay was my memories."

"And in that universe?"

"The Law of Balance is harsh, it was there, I met them. They... killed me. Lorelai Summerville, or Lorela, The Holy Maiden did something to me that i'll never forget."

"You plan to kill them?"

"Yes, after all all 3 of them are here. They are also planning to kill fa- I meant Ciar."

"No wonder I felt you weren't like a demon. But, your-"

"Lucifer, he is my father. *insert Luke I am your father vibes*"

Uriel no longer said anything. 

"It is late, I shall return now. Call me if you are in need of me."

"Ok."
