The morning of their flight home comes quicker than everyone wants it to. But first, they have a mission, to get the grandkids to watch the message that their family left behind for them.
"They said you just have to go in and it will do the rest once you all go into the building," Ku instructs. "And I think in that symbol room thing just stand on your element and it should work."
"Okay, well here goes nothing," Brenton looks at the giant building in front of them. It's floating over the small piece of land where they're standing at.
"Let's do this, I've got us if we need help," Sasha looks alert.
"We'll be back before you know it Sensei," Alex hugs the elderly man.
"So don't worry okay? We'll be fine," Ava joins in on the hug.
"C'mon, we have a flight to catch geniuses," Owen starts walking.
"So the quicker we get this part over with, the quicker we can get on the flight," Urana adds in.
"Have fun!" Ku waves to them as they all walk into the building. "Shoot! I forgot to tell them that the Masters will be there as well! Eh, it will be fine."
The teens wander inside the building. Portraits of the different mages all around and the rooms all clean as usual. Who keeps this place clean, they've got no clue. Maybe it's the sparkles.
All of them stop in front of the door that leads to the room they're gonna go in. They all look at each other, feeling all sorts of emotions.
"I don't know how I feel about finally knowing about our parents..." Urana's voice trails off. "It's just...I wanted to know about them ever since we learned about us. And two years later...here we are."
"I'm definitely scared. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm scared," Brenton holds Urana's hand, more so for himself than anything else. "What if they're not who we think they are? I mean like, I'm sure each one of us has imagined what they're like at least once right...?"
"Well, this'll be the first time seeing anyone from my family," Sasha takes a deep breath. "And I don't know if I'm excited or hesitant..."
"I think we all feel the same way..." Owen's voice trails off. "My Nano went missing years ago. Now I'm about to find out what happened to her...can I hide that from my family?"
"Can I hide it from my Lolo?" Alex stares at the door. "When I visited him he thought I was so much like my Lola...what if...what if they're dead...?"
"They can't be dead," Ava gulps. "My dad has to be alive. He has to come back. He can't just leave Mam like that! Come on, I need to know why my dad's been gone this entire time."
Leaving themselves more questions, the teens walk in. Surprise! The Masters are here as well, waiting patiently at their respective spots.
Belle gesticulates to them to hurry up. Her pale skin illuminated by the starlight. Belle's ice blue eyes focus on the teens coming in as her hand goes through the buzz cut of her hair.
Ben waves to all of them, a small smile on his face. His electric blue eyes then get distracted by the sparkles starting to appear. He leans his head back, making his dirty blond hair fall backwards.
Jasal greets everyone with a small hi. His purple eyes more focused on the sparkles that are creating a sentence for them to read. He pushes back his aquamarine hair to better look at the sparkles.
Xami simply says hi. She messes around with her purple hair as the sparkles set up Brail for the sentence so that she could read as well. Xami's clear eyes are hazy and unfocused but everyone knows better than to let that fool you.
