Chapter 32: Seeing Rico

He cleared everything up since everybody was literally gone. It took him an hour to tidy everything from the back to the front of the house. Then he cooked something up for Yn since she hasn't eaten and poured her a glass. He took the food up to her and found her sitting at the edge of the bed, staring at the wall

"I cooked you sum, since you haven't eaten, and you need to eat"

"I'm not hungry..."

"Cmon, you need to eat"

She didn't answer

"Alright, I'm sorry. I'm just trying to look after you, since Jacob ain't here to do that"

"I don't need looking after Keegan, I just want to be left alone..."

He nodded, "You want me to leave?"

She didn't say anything and he got up and left her room. He went downstairs and went looking for his car keys. Yn was just coming down and saw the house was tidy. It felt as if nothing didn't just happen a day ago. Yn walked down each step seeing Keegan grab for his keys. He was just leaving and she stopped him in his tracks

"Keegan wait!..."

He paused and turned round to her

"Stay..."

He sighed and nodded. He dropped his keys on the chest of drawers

"What changed your mind?", she shrugged

"... I lied and your right. We do need to get through this together. We both have a special place for Rico in our hearts. We should really do this together knowing everything we've been through besides your the only one who can understand each right now"

He nodded and she turned back round and walked back upstairs. He went upstairs and followed her to her bedroom. He saw her sitting at the edge again and she gave him a small smile. He went and sat beside her

"I appreciate what you done with the house"

"See, I'm not all that bad", he chuckled trying to lighten the mood

She nodded

He sighs, "This is all just too crazy for me. You know there was Jay, and now Rico..."

"I know... if you was there, I know you wouldn't let that happen to Rico"

"You think?"

"Keegan I've known you long enough to know you'd take a bullet for him. I'm not shaming Jacob but what did he actually do to help?! He could've died Keegan and that would've been the end of it", she teared up

He shook his head, "It's nice to talk like that about me Yn. Really it's flattering but... god knows what I could've done. Don't blame Jacob, for not taking a bullet for him. It was those dudes fault for pulling the trigger or even starting sum with them in the first place"

She nodded

"One thing I do know is, I've already lost one close brother of mine, and I'm not going to lose this one and let those motherfuckers get away with it this time, mark my words", he said gritting his teeth

"It's not worth it, Keegan", she shook her head as a tear rolled down her face

"Ain't it? Those fucking scums, shoot my brother TWICE and I let em get away with it? What if they shot him and he died like you said, huh? They are gonna learn soon, they are gonna learn exactly what's it fucking feels like to lose one of your own real soon. I ain't playing"
