Chapter 24: THE WEDDING DAY PART 2

Rico's POV

I was sitting outside my place, waiting for Jacob to turn up. I thought he'd be here sooner. He called me just over an hour ago, man

Keegan called telling me I'm late. Like NO SHIT, SHERLOCK! I already know that. Just minutes after I hung up the call on Keegan I saw this tight Rolls Royce pull up. The windows were blacked out. That can't be my ride, can it? Then the windows whined down and saw Jacob in there gesturing me to get in. OH SHIT!! Never knew this guy could afford all this. I mean I could of got this easy peasy but I've got to give him respect for at least trying this hard, you know. I got in, and we took off

Yn's POV

I was in the little room, where I guess all brides are supposed to wait in until the ceremony starts. I was looking at my reflection and I did not blink once. My nerves were really doing me, good. It really kicked in and it sunk in that any minute now I'm about to walk up that isle and commit my life to the man, on the alter, Jacob Perez for the rest of my life. The man I love. I have never been so scared and happy at the same time in my life, like right now. I needed to see someone right this instant, my palms were getting a little sweaty!

Jacob's POV

We made it just in time. We pulled up outside the church, and still there were some people waiting outside. I was nervous asf, I was going to open the car door but the nerves got the best of me and stopped me in my tracks

Rico noticed Jacob was nervous and was holding himself back. He put his hand on his shoulder for support

"You can do this, bro!"

Jacob nodded and took a deep breath. He got out the car, as Rico done the same. They both walked into the church so confidently and classy. They both walked up to the alter. Jacob was walking up as he waved to a few familiar faces on the other hand Rico was walking up the isle with Jacob, spotted Jasmine and pecked her before he went up to the altar, Rico slapped Keegan's hand and waved to Ashante and greeted Yn's mum. They exchanged kisses on the cheeks and Rico walked up to the altar where Jacob was stood

The priest was just waiting a few minutes more for everyone to settle along with Jacob and Rico. Jacob was panicking a little and Rico asked him if he has the wedding ring. He nodded but then Rico asked him about the paper of vowels. His eyes widened and he quickly searched his pockets. He pulled out his then Yn's

"Shyzee!! I was supposed to give this to Yn!! Could you give this to her, bro?!"

"Wha— Man I can't see the bride now!"

"Please Rico! We got like 3 mins left!!"

He sighed, "....Alright alright, pass it here!"

He took the paper and walked back down the isle to the small room at back, where Yn is supposed to be in. People watched him as he walked down the isle the opposite way. Rico knocked on the door

"Come in!!...", Yn called out

Rico went inside and Yn saw him come in, in the reflection of the mirror and she panicked a little

"RICO!! What the he—", she paused remembering she's at church, "What are you doing in here?!"

Rico was stunned by the sight of Yn

"Woah...", he chuckled and formed a smile

She looked at herself then back to him but this time she turned her full body around

He chuckled, "You look..."

"Thanks... but don't mention it, please. So... what do you want?"

Rico snapped out of staring at Yn and her outfit

He stuttered, "Umm, Jacob wanted me to give this to you"

She took the paper, "Great!!", she threw her arms up and turned her back to him

"...What's wrong?"

She chuckled sarcastically as Rico got suspicious cause then she turned back round as he heard her sobbing but couldn't exactly see her face

She turned round to face him, "Look at me! I'm getting married to the only man I love. I've been waiting for this moment for soo long and now I'm not ready. Rico, I'm scared", she shrugged hopelessly

"You ain't the only one who's scared. Jacob's out there panicking too. He was nervous before he even got into the church"

She chuckled, "Great, so we are both scared"

"I don't know what else I can say but... I know that Jacob loves you more than you think, more than you could imagine. And I think you both deserve each other and this moment. So, just cherish it, it'll will be over soon and you'll will back home with us, your friends"

She chuckled, "... Is that all I'am to you, Rico? Just a... friend?"

"...I mean... yeah. We are friends, that's what we agreed right?"

"I know what I said, Rico but I'm talking about right now"

"I don't know what you want me to say..."

She shook her head, "Rico, my whole life I've been playing myself about who I'am. I don't think I even know who I'am anymore. I don't even know if I want to get married... Rico, and when I get up there...", she walked closer towards him, "...on that altar...", and closer, "and I say I do", she was a breath away from him, "... there's no going back for me. I technically belong to Jacob and only Jacob"

He gulped and didn't move a muscle but look back at her. She put her hand on his cheek

"...Am I only your friend, Rico?"

He nodded hesitantly, and tears started forming in her eyes. He looked down and she slowly leaned in and slowly planted her lips on his soft lips. It gradually got a little more intense and passionate as Rico moves his hands to her waist and their breathing was racing through the kiss. They both let go off the kiss and they both looked in each others eyes intensely. She pecked him one last time and turned back to the mirror fixing up her wedding dress. Rico was startled and left the room speechless. He shook off what just happened and put on a cool and relaxed act but really he was anxious and nervous. He walked out into the main part of the the church, out front, where everyone was sat, walking through the isle up to the altar

As soon as Rico got up to the altar the music started playing, and Rico and Jacob both waited for the bride. Everyone looked back and stood on their feet as Yn just came into the picture being walked down the isle, to her husband. Everyone was happy watching the service. She was handed over to Jacob and stood opposite him. They held hands as the priest was just beginning his speech

"We are gathered here today to celebrate one's of life's greatest moments and cherish the words which shall unite, Jacob and Yn Perez in marriage...", he continued, "Would the bride and groom have a few words to they'd like to share first?"

Jacob nodded and began with, "Yn, My lovely wife. The love of my life. We have been through so much over the years but I want you to cherish special this moment between us, because this is start of the beginning where I'm going to spend the rest of my life with you"

She nodded, "Jacob, my fit husband... I can't believe how far we've come together. I appreciate everything that...", she tears up a little, "that you've done for me, and I truly want to spend the rest of my life with you and create more memories with you..."

"...Rings?", The priest asked

Jacob pulls out the rings, and they both repeated after each other, the never ending circle and commitment speech. Yn cried as they both exchanged rings and at the end the priest says

"And you may kiss the bride..."

They both kiss and everyone claps. Yn and Jacob walk back down the isle as they walk hand in hand
