Chapter 40: Labour Day

Skipping Months Later to Jasmine's Pregnancy

Keegan's POV

Over the past few months I thought I'd play my part as well on just checking to see how Jasmine's doing, since that fucking coward isn't doing it

Today I just went to go and buy some baby stuff for when the baby is due, Yn had work so she couldn't and Ashante was busy today too but I'm not too sure what she's busy doing. She didn't tell me. Anyway I got Jasmine some baby clothes and a cot and some toys. The room for the baby has been paid for, from a split by Rico and Jacob. They didn't come to drop off the money they sent money and Rico called up for a few people to do up the room for the baby. The baby is due within like a month or so, so it's about time

Me and Jasmine were just having a conversation about how things are going for us. I was more concerned for her because she's getting bigger and bigger as time flies by. It must be hard for the her I mean she looks drained

"Keegan can you just do me a favour and carry up these boxes up into the baby's room please"

"No problem Jas", I picked them up and carried them into the baby's room

Just as Keegan left out the kitchen to take up the boxes, Jasmine leaned over the counter getting breathless. She tried to control her breathing but every few seconds she'd feel a pain in her tummy, and she gasped in pain. She gripped onto the edge of the counter and tried to walk out the kitchen

"Keegan?!! KEEGANN!!!!"

Keegan sped down the stairs and paused at the bottom as he saw Jasmine struggling to make it to the couch. He quickly rushed over to her and took her hand and helped her onto the couch

"Jas.. you okay?!"

"Keegan...", she said breathing heavily breaking out in sweat, "I think I'm about to.... heee heee.... have this baby!!"

Keegan's eyes widened in shock, "Alright, alright you stay right here....", he got up but Jasmine pulled him back and held his hand firm

"Noo...", she said shaking her head, "Keegan pleasee, stay"

He nodded, "Alright Alright!", he panicked searching his pockets for his phone. He pulled his phone out his back pocket and dialled 911

The phone rang

"HELLO!! HELLO LOOK MY FRIEND, SHE'S IN LABOUR!! SHE NEEDS AN AMBULANCE!!!"

The paramedics asked for his location and they confirmed they will make it in about 8 minutes

Keegan turned back to Jasmine and her legs were spread out, whilst she sat there in pain breathing hard

"The ambulance are on their way, just hang on!", and he grabbed for a pillow and carefully stuffed it behind Jasmine's back to make it more comfortable for her in the meantime

10 minutes later the door is being banged on, calling from the outside, "It's the paramedics please open up!!"

Keegan got up and rushed to open the door. They came inside, and did their job. They then carried Jasmine away in a wheel chair and off into the ambulance. Keegan went too and called up Rico and Jacob to make sure they make it down to the hospital ASAP and everybody else
