Luis glared at the kid's meal and stared at it from behind the couch armrest. "Papito, it's not a bomb."
"Yes it is." Luis ducked lower, and all Venus could see was his hair.
"You want me to open it for you?" Luis said nothing, but when Venus opened the box, he screamed and ducked. Venus just sighed and started pulling food out. On the coffee table, there was chicken nuggets, french fries, chocolate milk and a toy. "Look papito. Avengers."
Luis stared at the toy and slowly walked up while staring at the food. "I don't like him." Luis grabbed the toy and threw it. "Poison!"
Venus sighed as Luis ran down the hallway and into his room. Luis closed his bedroom door and left Venus to put the food away. "I'm eating it!" Venus heard the bedroom door open, she saw that Luis just came out to pick up Nugget and go right back into his room.
Venus sighed again and put the food on the counter. Since it seemed like Luis wasn't coming out of his room any time soon, Venus decided she was going to make a pizza. In the middle of making the dough, the doorbell rang and she groaned. She had to wipe her hands before walking over and unlocking the door.
"I got a dog." Luciana said. She walked into the house and a small golden retriever followed her. "Where's Luis and Nugget?"
"Hiding in the room. Oscar came and brought a happy meal, but Luis thinks it's poison." Venus explained. "Papito, tía is here!"
Luis' bedroom door opened and he peeked his head out before fully opening the door and letting Nugget run out. "Two doggies?!" He exclaimed, running to the golden retriever that rolled over onto her back when Luis was close. "Mine?"
"No, she's tía Luci's dog." Venus told the toddler, but he just ignored her and rubbed the dog's stomach. "Wanna make a pizza?"
"Make? Nah, I'll watch Luis. You go do your chef duties." Luciana sat on the couch and Vensu sighed before going back into the kitchen. Luis was on the floor still, playing with the dog with Luciana watching him. "Can you make breadsticks?"
"You have hands."

Luis swung his feet back and forth and tightly gripped the chains beside him. "Higher!" He cheered, smiling when he felt Luciana push him and make him go higher than he already was. Luciana stepped back and let Luis swing himself on his own. She sat down beside Venus who was just watching them from the bench.
In the distance, because of his height on the swing, Luis saw the red impala that terrified him. "Mamá!" Venus looked up from Luciana and saw Luis kicking his feet araound and attempting to slow down. "Mamá, help!"
"I got him, V." Luciana said, goong back to standing behind Luis. She waited for an appropriate time and caught his swing to slow him down enough to let him get down and run to Venus.
Luis ran to Venus and grabbed her hand, pulling it to try and get her off the bench. "We leave now!"
"Where we going, papito?"
"Home!" Luis continued to run, making Venus speed walk since he was pulling her hand. "We go home!" Luis turned back around to the car, and jumped back with a gasp when he saw Oscar leaning against it. "Go to swings!"
Luciana finally met up with them and groaned. "Amorcito, I don't like running."
Oscar saw that they all stopped and started to walk towards them. Luis gasped again and shouted, "Run!"
He turned around and began to run, but ran right into Luciana's legs and fell. Luis let out an "oof" as he fell back and just stayed still in the grass. Venus and Luciana watched as Oscar got close and stopped right before them. He hovered over Luis and when Luis realized, he gasped again.
"Spooky!"
Oscar's little, hopeful smile disappeared as Luis said that, and he straightened up so he was facing Venus. "Why'd he call me that?"
"I told you he's terrified."
