chapter - 71

*Damian's pov*

"Mr. Head devian, it's a pleasure. Unfortunately, third time" Olivia says sarcastically. while me and she enters my father's house

I can see the tension on my father's face. He tricked us , I can tell it's true because he is tensed. The home is deadly silent. Like after storm place.

Fights happened here. My mother is not visible anywhere. I've to find her. She is in pain.

I can't cut Olivia during conversation, it's breaking the rules.

" Excuse me" I say very lightly as I go upstairs to find mother.

I look in the rooms and kitchen but she is nowhere to be seen.

Finally I go on roof.

The roof is a resting place as we have outdoor furniture there.

She's sitting there silently. Her eyes are swollen she is looking terribly weak.

"Mother!" I say as I rush towards her. I can't see my mother in such condition.

"Damian" her voice is tired. Seems like she fought with father alot.

"Please, don't stress yourself , we'll be happy together afterwards I'll make sure about that" I say with assured voice.

She smiles at me while crying.

"Thank you son" she says while bursting into tears and I give her my shoulder to cry on to give her support.

"You have to say him bye last time" I say. She cleans her tears off her face with a poker face

" I will" she says with a strong voice and I can see the pain she endured behind that blank face of hers. She loved my father with all her heart.

"Let's go, his time has come"

I say while giving her my hand to stand up from well furnished chair.

We go down as my father is still looking tensed. His face is looking like that thief in police station caught due to pickpocketing.

"Mr. Davian, could you please make sure to give a visit to your father after every 3 years, it's necessary" Olivia says, as they both stand.

I look at my mother, she is staring at blank space. Not even looking at my father ones.

"I will Mrs Olivia, thanks for the visit" she smiles at me as they both vanish into thin air within a second.

My father is gone. I'm trying my best not to cry. He won't join us in dinner ever again. he won't guide us about earth ever again. He didn't even say bye. He was just standing like a statue there.

My mother sighs deeply, although I thought she'll cry alot but she didn't

And there comes an angelic voice which fills my ears

"Are you alright?" Jen asks while entering. She came here to support me. My heart now feels a bit lighter.

"Yes , thank you Jen" I hug her and mother at same time.

"I'm sorry mother" I whisper.

She unfolds my arm which were covering her shoulder for support.

I look at her while hugging Jen , but Jen also does the same as mother.

This is very wrong time to argue.

"Do you love her damain?"

Shit! Why she have to ask that right now?! And why infront of her?!

Jen looks at me intensely. Oh how can I not love such girl?

Here it is. The final words.

I've to admit I love her. I can't run from her forever.

"Yes, I love her"

I can feel the shock Jen is going through right now. But I smile at her anyways, with all my heart to assure I won't let anybody hurt her ever.

"With all your heart?" My mother asks again.

"More than that , if it could be"

"I understand the pain of getting separated from your loved ones , so I won't try to separate you. Love whomever you want to love. Never lie to them damain. " She says. Somewhere I'm happy bit somewhere I'm sad. She's saying this all due to this incident.

I don't know what to say anymore.

"Thank you , aunt. I'll always support your son in everyway possible"

She says, and my heart flatters. This time she's smiling at me with assurance and I'm the one who is shocked.

I can't feel more happy and sad at the same time

The best for me right now is move on.

But one thing is for sure, where I go, whatever I do whatever happens to me, in the end of the day I've Jen , to love and get loved which I'll cherish forever.
