⠀⠀KATHERINE VISSER WAS INVISIBLE amongst the glitz and the glamour of other teens in her hometown of West Ham. She much preferred to stay inside, read a book, watch a movie musical, play wii sport and dunk oreos in milk. All these things she used to do with her older brother and his best friend since they were little. Now the two had perfectly morphed into West Ham High royalty. Katherine was left in the dust and ignored by both her brother and the guy she used to call her best friend.
SHE FOUND FRIENDS IN THE Pressman girlsand Will LeClair but there were more than one night in which she found herself pining over the memories of the past. Where her and Luke would talk from nights on end, then hug like they hadn't seen each other in years and converse with endless inside jokes. Now Kit was sure that he'd forgotten all about her. To him, Kit suspects, that she was just another face in the crowd.
BUT OCCASIONALLY, THEY WOULD catch each other's gaze across the hall and a sort of telepathic conversation would be made through their eyes. Something like a plead or an anguish at their broken relationship but then it would be interrupted quickly by others they didn't really want to talk to. Kit hoped, wished, for even just one single opportunity for their friendship to be mended. Then new West Ham happened. ⠀⠀

— this is inspired by the (rather cliché) plot of "my brother's best friend." BUT! you can make this your own and totally not cliché and predictable by adding in a twist!! my brain is not creative enough to think of one at the moment but i'm sure you can!!
— Kit and Luke/Clark/Jason have known each other for a LOOooOONG time because Grizz and Luke are BFFs so he was always around, their families are also quite close, they have dinners together and they celebrate birthdays and anniversaries together
— basically they are so close that when one of them enters the other's house, they can just waltz straight in and nobody would ask any questions
— Luke's more than once babysat Kit with Grizz and Grizz and Kit often stayed with Luke when his parents were out so they know all about each other's little quirks and can easily embarrass each other with memories from their childhood
— Grizz and Kit's parents were always fighting and though they had each other, Kit would often confide in Luke and Luke would always be there for a shoulder to cry on
— then high school happened and Grizz and Luke got popular with a snap of the fingres and Kit was kinda left in the dust (she's a year younger below them so she's in the same grade as Allie and Will), Kit and Luke drifted apart, they barely talked and it's just kinda awkward with them and Luke got really hot after puberty and Kit is just always nervous around him!!
— Harry would kinda pick on Kit and demand Kit to do his homework but Luke always swoops in like the perfect knight in shining armour and just yeah, he's adorable and like over protective with Kit
— then New Ham happened, it drove Kit and Luke closer again! and Luke begins to see Kit more than a friend, he doubts Kit's feelings towards him but really Kit has been in love with him since like forever!!!
— LUKE IS STILL WITH HELENA, I REPEAT, LUKE IS STILL WITH HELENA and though this just pains Kit so much, she tries to be happy for him and its very angsty and lots of unrequited love-ish
— Ending can be discussed, maybe Luke is still really confused with his feelings because he loves Helena but is also beginning to have feelings for Kit but since he's been with Helena longer, he's inclined to ignore feelings for Kit OR Luke and Helena have a nice, gentle, mutual break up and he DOESN'T pursue a romantic relationship with Kit (because he needs time to recover and Kit is more than willing to give him time) but kinda is more flirty and kinda more obvious with how he is developing a crush for her
