⠀⠀EMMA BASIO THRIVED in West Ham, Connecticut. She was loved by her classmates, adored by the others. She was perfect. She was best friends with one of the most popular guys in school, a very adored class president and most valuable player of the Varsity soccer team. But it all came crumbling down.
AN INCIDENT AT THE FAULT of her best friend, Harry Bingham and caused the whole town to turn against her. Emma was expelled from West Ham High School and nobody every saw her again. Two years pass and after a few strings were pulled, Emma Basio returned to her hometown.
THE WASHED UP PRINCESS of West Ham was what she was called and in West Ham, once they stuck a label on you, it was impossible to peel off. She had been declared an outsider and outsiders remain outsiders. But their travels to New Ham might just be the thing that rekindles the good ol' flame of friendship. ⠀⠀

— plot inspired by the song Champagne Supernova by Oasis because Harry and her were best friends and quite similar status-wise, they're both very rich, both have high expectations placed on them, both attend extravagant parties and etc.
— how it came "crumbling down" is your choice (but is has to be at the fault of Harry), one option can be that Harry placed all the blame one her for something he accidentally did and she got expelled from WHH and she never could ever ever forgive Harry and her family moved away and they never spoke again
— because her father was Principal at WHH (that's how her and Harry know each other because their parents worked together), they kind of bent the rules and allowed her to come back so her family moved back in at the beginning of junior year (she's in the same grade as Harry)
— she was disgraced by West Ham society and gossiped by many of the townspeople and nobody really liked her anymore, everybody stared at her like she was a freak and was antagonised and she was instantly rejected upon her return
— I feel like because of how excluded she was, she would've been great friends with Will, I can really see a solid friendship forming between the two of them and Grizz would also be the only one who doesn't think her as a villain so she looks up to him like a big brother
— because of the negative reception to her return, Emma hated Harry more, she doesn't think she could ever forgive him but their arrival at New Ham forces her to talk to him and to other people who she no longer has bridges with and people slowly begin to question why exactly they didn't like her in first place
— Harry tries to apologise over and over again because they were literally best friends and he really misses her but Emma keeps rejecting him because she was really hurt by what he did
— eventually Emma forgives Harry (but not after a long time) and they rekindle their friendship and it's like Emma never left, they're like super best friends, they finish each other's sandwiches, knows how they like their coffee and all these other small details about them
— everyone assumes they're dating and they get all flustered when people ask and Emma would just go all red and stutter and do all those nervous gestures and so would Harry!!!
— it's your choice about this bit but Harry would still be really into Kelly and he asks Emma for help of winning her back and Emma will help because she loves Harry (platonically) BUT after they spend so much more time together (this can be au a little) she kinda develops feelings for him
— Harry starts to develop feelings for him too and soon they kinda cross this bridge from friendship to something else, like in between platonic and romantic, Harry would find excuses to touch her, passing by he would graze her hand or play with her hair, Emma would always want to be around him, always asking for him and stuff
— things get intense when Harry goes along with Lexie/Campbell's usurpation, Emma doesn't approve of it and tries to get Harry to back out
— ending is up to discussion/your choice, some options could be, she never says anything to Harry about her romantic feelings towards him and they both kinda keep their feelings secret or her and Harry could get together!!
