"It's so cold." Jimin hugs his blanket around him as he shivers.

His apartment is painfully cold.

Because Jimin's always late on payments, his landlord cut the heat out of his room. It's a cruel action but Jimin understands why.

It's been like this for a month but now that Jimin is on Christmas break, the apartment feels ten times colder.

"Ouch." He whimpers and shivers as he walks around his cold apartment. He shouts in pain when he tries to sit on the cold, cold leather couch in his living room.

It's so cold in his apartment, he can see his breath.

A knock on the door causes Jimin's face to heat up. Is it the boys? Are they going to see him like this? What will they do?

Jimin worries as the door continues to be knocked on. Slowly, due to the freezing temperatures, he walks to his front door.

He opens it to see a yellow paper shoved into his face. With shaky hands he grabs the paper and reads it:

Tenant of room 112, I have been the kindest I can be but you are behind $5,000 on the rent and expense bills. I am sorry to say this, but you're getting evicted. You have by the end of today to leave. I am sorry.

Sincerely, your landlord

"No..." Jimin's face turns paler than it already is.

"Midnight." The man who handed him the note speaks then walks away.

No way. He knew his landlord did try immensely for Jimin, but the man had a job. The sixteen-year-old struggled a lot and the landlord helped him as best as he could. Jimin can only accept his fate.

"I wanna make him smile." Jungkook whines down the hallway.

"Okay, okay. Good luck with that." Taehyung laughs then he coughs uncontrollably.

"Ha! That's what you get! Taehyung the red nosed fuckface!" Jungkook laughs making Taehyung put him in a choke hold.

The three, including Jin, are bringing a cake that Jin made especially for Jimin. Jin watches the two younger boys wrestle as he looks towards Jimin's opened door.

Jin gasps and runs to the door in fear that something bad happened to Jimin. But something bad did happen.

"Jimin!" Jin slams the door open only to see the small boy sitting with a yellow note in his hand.

"W-what are you doing here?" Jimin looks at him with big, wide eyes.

"Hey Jim!" Jungkook walks into the room.

"Holy- it's freezing in here." Taehyung rubs his hands up and down his arms.

Jin takes the note in Jimin's hand and reads it. Then he realizes why the boy looks so traumatized.

"You remember that offer we made with you?" Jin says referring to almost two months ago in October. "It's still available." Jin smiles.

"Yeah Jiminie. Our home is your home." Jungkook smiles.

"It's much warmer and we have food." Taehyung smiles.

Tears leave Jimin's eyes. He's grateful but he feels pathetic. Relying on the strange men around him. But he has no other choice and he's truly grateful.

Grandpa? How'd I meet such kind people? Jimin wonders to himself as he nods his head yes to their offer.
