Eat breakfast together

"Thanks for the meal!" Jungkook claps his hands together and begins to eat breakfast. The others soon follow.

As Jimin puts some rice into his mouth, he twitches from irritation. Six eyes are drilling holes into him and he can't stand it.

"Could you..." Jimin looks at all of them. "Could you please stop staring at me."

They begin to cough and clear their throats, averting their gaze from Jimin.

"We totally were n-"

"Yes. Yes you were." Jimin cuts Namjoon off.

The breakfast continues on, quietly. The only sound is their chopsticks clanking against the dishes.

"So...um..." Jungkook speaks, the silence was killing him. "How's school everyone?"

"Boring." Yoongi.

"Interesting." Namjoon.

"Stupid." Hoseok.

"Waste of my damn time." Taehyung.

"Stressful." Jin.

"Yeah school is not it. Hey Jimin. What bout you?" Jungkook asks with a smile. The others turn to look at Jimin.

"It's..okay I guess." Jimin answers quietly.

"What makes it okay? Can we make it great?" Hoseok peers.

"If someone is messing with you, I'll beat their asses." Jungkook slams his fist on the table making the dishes shake.

"I-I'm fine! Really!" Jimin waves his hands to stop them.

"Are you sure?" Six voices meld together. All of their eyes have a burning vigor in them, a vigor of protecting Jimin.

Jimin feels tears in the back of his eyes. He knew they cared for him but never this much. So passionately and enthusiastically.

"Yes, I'm sure." Jimin blushes as he says the next few words. "Because I have you guys."

As Jimin smiles, the males stare with shocked eyes.

"Oh my God." Jin starts to cry, cupping a hand over his mouth.

"You trust us then?" Yoongi bites his lip to suppress his shout of happiness.

Jimin nods and the table uproars in cheers. Taehyung coughs to his heart's content, Jungkook chokes on some rice, Namjoon and Hoseok spin in a circle while screaming "Mansae!".

"I'm so...happy!" Jin cries and runs into the bathroom to wipe his tears.

Jimin is amazed by the variety of reactions to one statement and gesture.

"So," Yoongi smiles in his seat next to Jimin's. He holds out his hands. "You're our friends?"

Jimin stares at his hand then back at his elder's small eyes.

"Yes, we are friends." He shakes Yoongi's hand.

"Mansae!"
