Chapter 32

Precap:

In the previous chapters, Chase finds out the truth that Helena too loves him with a love letter that he finds in a bundle of sketches. The next day, he plans to propose to her in front of everyone in the party.

Chase's POV:

My tiredness flew away when I saw her....

She stood alone at the edge of the terrace ,looking outside. I'm not sure what might be rolling in her mind at that moment,but the only thing I kept on thinking about is..."Helena"

I could feel my heart, beating abnormally.It's pounding so fast that it's going stop at any moment.I'm craving to see her attractive eyes and talk to her from the past few days.That's the impact she has created on me and I love that feeling.After getting to know that she too loves me,I'm a way more happy and confident. Now,I'm going to move on to the final step that trails it's way to a beautiful beginning.

"I was waiting for this moment Helena! You can't imagine the love I have for you. And I think, this is the moment! Yes! I'm going to propose to you...", I said in myself.

I wish I could see you soon in a bridal attire, wherein I, will be waiting for you in the hall with the ring tickling between my fingers and you on the other hand , walking towards me with a never ending smile stick to your face. Those sparkling eyes, when they meet mine, I'll enjoy the blissful moment all through. There....! We will be the cynosure of all eyes attending the beautiful event, "Marriage".

I was just waiting for the second where we both answer truthfully to those questions poked by the church father and then exchange our smiles. And hopefully, it will be a YES from either side.

While I kept on memorizing those beautiful incidents that I was looking forward to, she slowly turned to my side.

She looked absolutely perfect and attractive in her silky outfit. She is elegance personified and I can admit it for sure, She has the damn pretty eyes...

She looked straight into my eyes and so I did. She held her hands along her waist and gave me a piercing look.I didn't understand what that actually meant. But, I was busy in looking at the strands of hair that kept on covering her face due to the strong breezes all over. And she, on the other hand was pulling those hair strands behind her ears. In fact ,I liked watching it.

Finally, looking at her beauty, I gasped out, "Beautiful!" , in a bit low tone.

"What?",having listened to what I just uttered, she immediately inquired.

Being shocked a little, I tried to join letter to letter, word to word and finally succeeded in forming a sentence. For sure it's hard to get rid of those eyes. They are playing with me from the time I started staring at those .

Then, few seconds later,after coming back to my senses, I told her that I need to talk something important with her. She gave me a questioning look but agreed to listen to me finally.

" Helena! Today I'm going to make a very important decision in my life. I hope everything goes well. I'm going to announce something and I want you to listen. I don't know why, but I'm a bit nervous. I think it's time to reveal something to this world....", I added.

Very quickly, I took hold of her hand and placed the letter which I wanted to give her. Along with that, I gave her the rose I brought and....

"This beautiful Rose is for the beautiful you" , I added which made her blush a little.

She appeared puzzled with my strange behavior as well as the letter,the same one which she has hidden from all and sundry .She might be wondering how I got that letter . I know she's totally confused with my words  for now. Because I never had a serious conversation of this kind with her till date. And probably, our every meet used to end up with us exchanging looks. I was never this romantic before.
