Do you ever get that feeling that makes you sick to your stomach?

The feeling that you try so hard to drain out with the people around you but it just ends up making it worse until you can't take it anymore.

So you rock back and forth on your bed, waiting.

You wait for any kind of sign, something that shows you everything is going to be okay, that it's not the end of the world.

But what if it never comes?

[Y/N] was pondering this as she sat on her bed. Her cheeks were dry and uncomfortable with the mascara stuck on them from when she'd been sobbing.

She had been hiding in her room for about an hour now, wondering how in the hell she'd fucked it all up so fast.

How would she get this kind of emotion out of her?

How would she rid the beast inside her chest that begged her for more, leaving her restless when it was finished preying on her fragile heart?

How could she mend the heart?

All that time she spent, all those memories would now only bring her pain. Would she rid of everything that reminded her of it, or would she keep it around and risk breaking her heart all over again?

What was she doing wrong now, she asked herself. [Y/N] pondered this next question and she felt the wave of sadness hit her again.

How was she supposed to fix her own broken heart?

[Y/N] rolled to the edge of her bed and got down. She ran her hand through her head out of stress and looked around the room.

She found her phone laying on her bedside table, text messages coming from different people asking her if she was alright.

[Y/N] thought about throwing her phone out of the window, but soon forgot about it once she came to realization that wouldn't be good for her in the long-run.

"[Y/N]! I thought we told you to come down, someone is here to see you!" She heard her mom shout again. [Y/N] groaned and proceeded to angrily come down the stairs to greet the visitor.

"Listen, I told you it's ov—"

"Hey, you didn't forget about the park night you promised me, did you?" [Y/N] looked up to see her new friend, Finn, smiling at her.

He wore a pale yellow button up with a bouquet of daisies in his hand. She smiled for the first time tonight, "Oh my god I did, I'm so sorry I've been so stressed out and—!"

"Hey, don't worry about it. Tonight is about letting you relax and hopefully I'll get to steal a kiss." He smirked cheekily. [Y/N] rolled her eyes at the boy.

"Oh my god, no, not tonight it's too soon." It was Finn's turn to roll his eyes as he brought them back down to look at the beautiful girl in front of him.

"Whatever you say, now go get dressed." [Y/N] nodded and ran back up the stairs and into her room. She frantically looked in her closet for something a bit nicer to wear than a hoodie.

She pulled out a dress and tried to put it on as quickly as her arms would let her. She forgot about shoes though, and ran down the stairs without them.

Finn didn't notice either, until she started walking weird on the gravel driveway.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked her and she nodded.

"Yeah um, I just kind of sort of forgot to put on shoes." She giggled had he rolled his eyes. She ran back in to grab some and was back out in a flash.

Finn drove them to the park and she sniffed the daisies the entire way there.

Finn made her forget about the shitty evening she'd been having, maybe he wasn't the worst boy to have a crush on her?

They'd gotten out of Finn's car and he grabbed a blanket out of the trunk. [Y/N] and him found a nice little place underneath a tree, and Finn laid up against it.

"So before we get into the fun stuff, do you want to talk about it?" He asked.

"Talk about what?" [Y/N] responded.

"Y'know, what happened? I mean I know you're sad, I could tell when you opened up the door earlier."

"I'm not sad." She said defensively. "Why should I be sad? I have nothing to be sad for I'm—" She paused. "I'm perfectly fine on my own."

"Nope, you're lying to yourself." He stated plainly and [Y/N] looked a little taken aback. She sat down beside him, pulling down the skirt of her dress.

"No I'm not, I know if I'm okay or not."

"Yeah, and I know if you're okay or not." Finn told her. "[Y/N] you're so fucking beautiful, and I know you're so much better than [him/her]. You're so talented, and wonderful and I just..."

He took her hands in his and kissed her.

And then, as if a magic wand was used, her sadness was gone.
