School plays weren't normally Finn Wolfhard's thing.

None of the activities were.

With his brother on the football team, you would expect him to follow in his footsteps, but he didn't.

His mom made him choose one activity, she told him just one would do.

Of course, he didn't choose sports - he chose theater.

Finn loved acting, but he didn't find himself very good at it, but he tried out nonetheless.

Fast-forward to the day the cast list was posted, he was surprised that he'd landed the lead.

He didn't understand why, it was a musical - he didn't think he could sing very well either.

His brother congratulated him and the first rehearsal wasn't too far away.

The row of seats in the auditorium filled up with the cast of the musical Peter Pan Jr.

The seats were split up into groups, based on who needed to get to know each other the most.

Peter Pan was with Wendy, the Darling family - except for Wendy - together, the Lost Boys, the Pirates, Captain Hook and Smee, etcetera, etcetera.

Finn was one of the first ones to show up after the school day. He sat down in his labeled "Peter Pan" chair as he dropped his backpack to the ground.

A couple minutes passed before someone absolutely stunning walked through the door.

She was beautiful.

And she was sitting right next to him.

"What's Peter Pan's favorite place to eat out?" She instantly said, without even sitting down.

"Uh-"

"Wendy's!"

Finn chuckled at the utterly stupid joke as he watched her drop her stuff.

The two chatted for a small moment before the director asked for everyone to get to know their cast-mate.

Finn and Y/N hit it off well, thankfully.

Fast-forward to show day, Finn was a nervous wreck.

Y/N had calmed him down before she had to go on stage.

What Finn found the most confusing was that when he finally went on stage, when he was there with Y/N, he felt unbelievably comfortable.

It was like his anxiety was put on pause when he was with her.

His lines came easy to him, as did her's.

The whole show was genuinely great, and a pleasant experience for Finn.

However, he began to get quite nervous during a certain scene.

In which, Y/N would have to 'walk the plank'.

He was positioned underneath the plank, and was expected to catch her. He had to have his brother help him practice so he could easily hold Y/N without dropping her.

If he dropped her, he'd never forgive himself.

The fall went smoothly, and Y/N smiled at him to show him a bit of a 'thank you'.

The rest of the show was magnificent and at the end of the show, Finn did something he'd never regret.

He kissed Y/N after they bowed together.

She was surprised, but he felt bad when she didn't kiss back.

The cast met outside the auditorium to meet with their families, friends, and audience in general.

Finn stuck around with his best friend - Noah.

Noah had congratulated Finn on the kiss, but Finn told him how she didn't kiss back.

"That doesn't mean she doesn't like you. I mean, maybe she enjoyed it. To be honest, she probably just wasn't expecting it." He told him.

Finn just shrugged, and pulled at his costume shorts.

Even though he wasn't a redhead, he pulled off the costume perfectly.

He froze up when Y/N walked over to him and Noah in her Wendy dress.

She looked just as stunning as ever, even without the intense stage lighting.

"Hi, Noah!" She exclaimed, and hugged him before turning to Finn. "Finn." She greeted.

"I just wanted to say great job, you were amazing." She told Finn, a small smile placed on her face.

"You too, as always." Finn smiled too, and stepped a bit closer to her. "But, I shouldn't have kissed you. I get you didn't like it. I can't apologize though, because I don't regret anything."

Y/N just giggled at this.

"You're an idiot." She got on her tip toes and planted a kiss on his cheek before giving him another hug. "Of course I liked it."

Finn beamed as he looked down at her, wrapping his arms around her torso.

He leaned down before sharing another kiss with her.

"COME ON WE HAVE TO TELL Y/N HOW GOOD SHE DID!" Your best friend shouted at your other best friend.

The two ran over to you before seeing you and Finn kissing.

"Oh."

this one is cute

i really like it

though i'm sorry it took so long to update, my anxiety was acting up and i had to walk away for a good 30 min

i think we deserve to see Finn in a Peter Pan costume though

like he better just throw one on one day and take like millions of pictures of it

because

wouldn't he be just a qt

we all need to create a #turnfinnintopeterpan movement
