Just great.

Great.  Just great.  Another roommate. My fifth one this year and it's only May.  Maybe if this one leaves no other one will be my roommate.

I sat on my couch staring at the blank screen in front of me.  I don't watch much TV so I have no clue why I have one.  The new roommate might use it.

The apartment wasn't a total mess but it was sort of messy.  I picked my things up and threw them into my room then cleaned my cups. Hopefully they won't try to drink my blood.  Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I'm a vampire.  That's why all the other roommates left.  I apparently "drink too much blood".  A knock distracted me from thinking about my roommates, speaking of which that's probably them.

I drag myself over to the door and open it.  Instead of see one person, I saw four people.  "Hi, I'm Gerard, we're your new roommates."  A long haired man in the front exclaimed.  "Roommates?"  I said.  "I thought there was only one of you."  I said looking at all four of them.  There was one who was shorter than all of the others and he looked a little mad.  Another had glasses and had no expression on his face, he was very boney.  The one standing behind them all was tall and had curly, poofy hair. The one in front looked slightly like the one in glasses but he had black hair and was less boney.   "Well there's four of us not one." The short one said.  "Whatever, come in."  I walked out of their way so they could walk in.  "You guys are very lucky that this is a pretty big apartment."  "Does it have stairs?" The tall one asked.  "Do you see any?" I asked.  "No." He said.  "There's your answer." I said.  The short one snickered at either me or the other one.  I ignored him though.  "There is a guest room over there," I pointed to the left of me, to the right of the kitchen.  "And another room is over there." I pointed beside my room.  "I mean if one of you wants to sleep on the couch you can." I told them turning to go to my room.  "Wait." One said.  I sighed and turned around.   "Yeah?"  "Why is it so dark in here?" Gerard asked.  "I don't like light." I said.

It was getting pretty late, thank God, and the boys were close to fully unpacking their stuff.  I just can't wait for them to go to sleep so I can have some peace for a little while longer.

Apparently that wasn't going to happen.

Once I thought they were all in bed I poured some more blood in my cup.  "What's that?" Someone asked, making me jump.  I turned around and saw the short boy looking at my cup.  "Nothing." I said.  "Something. Is is it alcohol?" He asked seeming more interested.  "No."  "Then what is it?" He asked.  "I already told you. It's nothing."  I walked to the couch and saw the boy with glasses on his phone.  I didn't say anything but just sat as far away from him as I could.  He didn't look at me, I don't even think he realized I was sitting on the couch.  I wouldn't either, I'm as boney as him.

I got on my phone and forgot all about the boy.  Until I jumped up on the couch.  Gerard plopped down on the couch beside me. I glanced over at him.  He was wearing almost all black but he seemed so.... so bright.  There was a thud in the kitchen like someone dropped something.  "This shit is disgusting!" The short boy said in disgust.  I scowled and quickly walked over in the kitchen to clean the splattered blood.  "What the fuck is that?" He asked.  "None of your fucking business." I whispered but he heard.  "You don't have to be so grumpy, I was just thirsty." He said.  "There is water in there." I told him.  "But I wanted to know what you're drinking." He said in what sounded sort of like a pout.  "Well you could have asked if you could have some."  "Can I have some."  "No." I said.  "What the hell?" He said.  "Frank just drink water." Gerard said.  "But I don't-"  "Frank." He said.  "Fine."
I rolled my eyes but smiled.

All of the boys were sitting on the couch now.  It's one in the morning and I'm around humans. I already hate this.  "So, uh, what's your name?" Gerard asked me.  "Brie." I said flatly.  "Cool.  I'm Gerard, you already know, that's ray, Frank, and Mikey."  Ray had the curly hair, Mikey was the boney one and Frank was the one I already don't like.  I drank some of my blood and Frank gave me a weird look.  I stared at him for a moment then looked back at my phone.  "What do you do for a living, Brie?" Ray asked.  "I uh.."  Shit, I had to think of something.  "Um, I er..."  I don't work. Well, my friend owns the apartments so I don't have to pay much.  I clean for him.  "I'm a photographer."   Stupid.  Why would I be a photographer?  I definitely wouldn't take pictures of myself.  I couldn't.  "Nice." He said.  I knew I should have maybe asked him what they do but I didn't want to, so I didn't.  "We're a band." Ray said to me.  That makes everything totally better.  Know I'll have to pretend to be a photographer and listen to them play music.

The only one I'm starting to actually like is Mikey.  Only because he doesn't talk to me or try to talk to me.  "Why won't you tell me what your drinking?" Frank asked again for the millionth time.  "Because you don't even like it and it's none of your business." I told him.  "Look I don't want to be here as much as you don't want me here but, you don't have to be so harsh." He said.  I rolled my eyes and went to my room.

My life is just amazing.  First four guys move in with me when I thought only one was going to.  Second one of the guys is too nosey and annoying. Third I have to pretend to be something I'm not.  And fourth I'll most likely have to listen to them practice their music.  I also probably won't have any personal space if Frank keeps acting like he did today. I have the greatest life anyone could have.
