Fuck.

I woke up with a throbbing pain in my right hand.  I groaned and went to my bathroom to unwrap the bandage.  I washed my hands but didn't wrap it back up again.  I figured it would be okay.  I heard people moving around in the other room.  I reached for my door handle but hesitated.  What if it was just Ray?  It would be weird if I stayed in there with him but it would be rude if I ran back into my room when I see him.  I stayed in my room, not wanting to risk anything.  I've never acted like this over a guy.  I've never actually dated anyone.  Well, when I was in my teenage years I dated a boy.  It didn't mean anything though.  I was probably fifteen or sixteen.  Then again I did date a girl at that age too.  She's now one of my friends.  I don't know about the boy, never talked to him after I broke it off with him.  I guess the reason why I'm acting like this is because I've always been the one to break it off.  Never the other way around.  Until now.  I went to my phone.  I texted Gerard.

B: Hey, you up?
G: yeah why?
B: bored. Are you in your room?
G: no, in the kitchen.
B: is Ray in there...
G: yea, why?
B: I don't want to be in there with him
G: why?
B: we broke up you dumbass
G: oh! Sorry.
B: can you come in here?
G: sure.

I heard Gerard walking towards my door.  He opened it and came in.  I saw Ray looking over at my door before Gerard shut it.  "Sorry." Gerard said sitting down on my bed.  "About?"   "You and Ray." He said.  "Oh yeah.  It's no big deal." I shrugged.  He laughed.  "I see how much you loved him."   "Like I said before.  I didn't love him I just liked him." I told Gerard.  "Okay." He said holding his hands up.  "You gonna get with Mikey?" Gerard asked leaning closer to me.  "What? No!" I said.  He gave me a look that told me he didn't believe me.  "Well, not right now." I said smiling a little bit.  "I know you and Ray just broke up but I can't wait for you and Mikey to get together." Gerard said.  "We might not even get together." I said.  "Seriously?  Mikey loves you and you like Mikey."  "He loves me?"  "Yes. He told me.  He loves your smile, the way you stick your tongue out at Frank when you argue, he loves how one minute you're so independent and the next minute you act like a little kid." Gerard told me.  "Hey! I don't act like a little kid!" I said crossing my arms.  Gerard gave me that look again and I realized I do sometimes act like a kid.  "He said he loves the way you look when you're focused on something, when you're so deep in your book that what's surrounding you doesn't matter at all.  I'm telling you Brie, he loves you." Gerard said.   I smiled at the thought.  "That's amazing and all but, I don't want to immediately get together with Mikey right when I broke up with Ray." I said.  "I know. I'm just saying." He shrugged.  He looked at my hand.  "Aren't you going to wrap it?" He asked.  I looked down at my hand.  "No." I said.  "Why?"   "It's not bleeding anymore. There's no point." I said.   He nodded.  "Speaking of blood." I said, still looking at my hand.  "What about it?" He asked.  I could just hear the smirk on his face.  "You drink it, right?" I said.  "If that's what you gave me that one time, then yes." He said.  I looked up at him.  I was right, he was smirking.  "Are you a vampire?" I asked quickly.  He smiled at me.  "Not really.  I don't burn in sunlight, I can't fly or turn into a bat.  I just like blood." He said.  "Oh. So you aren't a vampire?" I asked.  "No, I'm not." He said with a small laugh.  "Are you?" He asked.  I looked at him with a blank expression.  "Yes." I said.  He stopped laughing and looked at me.  "For real?" He said.  "Yeah. I'm a real vampire.  I burn in sunlight, I can fly, but I can't turn into a bat.  My sister can though." I said.  "I'm not full vampire.  My mom was a vampire, my dad was human. My real dad was." I said.  He just stared at me.  "That's so fucking cool!" He exclaimed.  I laughed at him.  "Can I see you fly or float or- or whatever you do?!" He asked eagerly.  "Yeah of course." I laughed.  I hopped off the bed but didn't land on my feet.  I floated a few inches off the ground.  He looked at me fascinated.  I floated higher and I flew around my room.  "Oh my god, that's amazing!" He said.  I smiled and dropped myself to the ground.  "Just do me one favor." I said.  "What?" He asked.  "Don't tell the boys. I'll tell them myself." I said.  "Oh no, I won't tell them." He said.  I nodded and smiled.  "Good."

Gerard left my room to do whatever with Frank.  I came out if my room at around 1:00.  Ray wasn't in the kitchen or living room, but Mikey was.  He was sitting on the couch like usual.  He looked over at me then quickly looked away.  I frowned.  I sat down on the far end, opposite of Mikey.  "Hey." I whispered.  He looked up at me.  "Hey." He said.  I slightly smiled at him.  He looked me over.  He stared at my hand for a few moments.  "Why isn't your hand wrapped up?" He asked, concern washing over his face.  I shrugged.  "It's not bleeding anymore, I'm sure it's fine."  He looked at it again.  "It still looks bad." He whispered.  "I mean, it's only been a few weeks since it happened and it was pretty severe." I said.  "And I'm just now leaving it unwrapped." I laughed.  He nodded.  "I just wouldn't want it to get infected or you accidentally hurt it more." He said.  My head screamed.  Gerard was right.  My cheeks felt warm, I knew I was blushing.  I looked down at my lap.  Of course, my brain just had to bring back the memory of who's hand was there just the day before today.  I blushed harder.  "You okay?" Mikey asked.  I looked up at him.  "Yeah, I'm fine." I whispered.  "You sure."  He smirked a little.  "You look a little flustered."   I just know my whole face went red.  Mikey laughed at me.  "I- I'm not flustered I just- I-"  Mikey got up and sat down beside me.  "You what?" He asked.  "I was just thinking about something." I said.  He searched my face.  "Must have been something really interesting." He said.  I looked down at my hand, shaking my head.  My head continued to intensely scream.  "Holy shit. Fuck, fuck, fuck!" My head screamed internally.  I looked over at him, he was smiling.  "Stop it!" My head yelled.  "Stop looking so fucking hot!"   I heard him laugh.  "I'm glad you think I'm hot." He smirked.  My eyes widened.  I just said that out loud.  Fuck!
