I opened my eyes.
I wasn't in my apartment. I wasn't at the mall or anywhere joyfull. I wasn't even in an actual home.
I was at the hospital.
I looked around the room. "Oh Brie! Don't leave! Please don't leave!" someone cried from beside me. I know that voice. It...it was my mom. I looked to the left of me and saw here there. Her head hanging low and her hand squeezing mine. I looked to my right and saw Lesley sitting in a chair holding hands with my stepdad. They were both crying. "Mom?" Her head shot up. She looked at me and her face lit up. "Oh my goodness Brie!" Lesley and my stepdad looked up. "Brie!" Lesley shouted. All three of them hugged me. "W-what is going on?" I asked. "You were in a coma." my stepdad said. "So I never met My chem?" Lesley laughed. "I'm sorry but no way! The last time they came here was two years ago and you hardly even knew who they were." I laughed too. The doctor came in, looking panicked. "What happened? Is she okay- Oh." He looked shocked. "She woke up."
"Alrighty, you're free to go." The nurse said. It has been a few days since I woke up from my coma. I'm glad to be leaving the hospital. My mom pushed me to the car in a wheelchair.
Once we were all in Lesley looked over at me.
"What?" "Tell me about that four month long dream of yours." She smiled. "Well... this might take a while." I laughed.
