"What are you doing?!" My eyes shot open. It was nine in the morning. Someone was shouting at someone else. I rose out of bed. There was something blue at the end of my bed. I got up and looked at it. "Meet me at the alley beside the apartment." It said. Ray probably wrote this to apologise again. I threw it away and went to the kitchen to see what all the commotion was about. "I'm trying to cook her breakfast!" Ray shouted at Frank. "Well you need to do better because you're gonna burn the apartment down!" Frank shouted back. "Why didn't you just ask one of us for help?" Gerard asked more quieter. "I don't know." Ray mumbled. They finally noticed me standing at the couch after arguing a bit longer. "Hey! Brie!" Ray smiled. "Hi." I whispered. "Um, I'm making you breakfast." He said. "I can tell." I told him. "I have to go somewhere." I said to them all. "I don't know when I'll be back though." "Ok. See you later." Gerard said. I went to my room and got dressed. I left and walked to the alley beside the apartment.
When I got there I didn't see anyone until there was a figure walking towards me. "Hey." They said. I got closer so I could see who it was. It was Mikey. "Hey, Mikey." I smiled slightly. He scratched the back of his head. "I wanted to say sorry. You know, about yesterday." He said. I sighed, not wanting to think about it. "It's fine I guess." I shrugged. "No it's not." He whispered. I looked away from him. "Things will get better." He said. "Maybe." I whispered to myself but, of course, he heard me. "They will. They always do at some point." I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, sure." I mumbled. "Is that all you wanted to say to me?" I asked him. "Well I guess so. I kind of just wanted to talk." He shrugged. I laughed. "You? Talk?" He looked at me. "What? I talk to people I'm comfortable with and I'm comfortable with you." He said. "Ok. It just surprising to hear you say those words." I laughed. "But why couldn't you have talked to me inside?" I questioned. "Because we'd most likely get interrupted not even ten minutes into talking." He said with a blank face. "That is true." I reasoned. "Well, what do you want to talk about?" I asked him. "I don't really know. I just wanted to talk." He shrugged. "Well you're a lot of help." I said. "If you want to go back inside we can." He told me. "The boy's are cooking breakfast so I think I'll wait a while." I slightly laughed. "Ok. We can go somewhere if you'd like." Mikey suggested. I looked over at where the sun was shining. "Ouch." I jumped back into the shade. He looked at me with concern and confusion on his face. "I'm allergic to the sun." I said awkwardly. "Oh." "We can go somewhere that has shade, if you want." Mikey said. "Um, sure."
Me and Mikey walked in the direction of the store I got my camera at. He was on my left so he was blocking the sun from getting to me a lot. We walked past the alley that Ian sleeps on. He ran out once he saw me. I didn't notice him until he barked. "Ian!" I exclaimed. I bent down to get him. "Is that your dog?" Mikey asked. "Well he's not my dog but I feed him when I can." I told Mikey, grabbing the bag of dog food. I held the dog food up to Mikey. He looked at the dog food then me. "Do you want to feed him?" I laughed. "Oh, yeah sure." He took the dog food and tried feeding Ian. Ian hesitated but once he sniffed Mikey's he took the food. I looked over at Mikey, who was smiling as Ian ate the food from his hand. Once Ian at all the food from Mikey he stood up and I pet Ian one last time before walking away again.
"Do you have a watch?" I asked Mikey. "Yeah." He checked his watch and told me it was ten o'clock. "We might as well head back to the apartment. Hopefully the boys are done cooking." I told Mikey. "Yeah, hopefully they didn't burn down anything either." We both laughed and headed back to the apartment.
When me and Mikey walked in the place smelt weird. We looked at each other with concern. "Ray?" I called. "Gerard?" Mikey called. They both popped out of their own rooms. Ray smiled when he saw me. "So, did you guys finish making breakfast?" I asked, taking my jacket off. "About cooking breakfast.." Gerard trailed off. Frank came out of his and Gerard's room. "Ray burnt it." Frank said. "I wasn't the only one." Ray said looking over at Frank. "Did you at least order breakfast from somewhere?" Mikey asked. "Yeah." Gerard nodded. We walked over to the kitchen and grabbed our food. Mikey actually ate his. I ate a little bit of mine. "Are you not hungry?" Ray asked. "Not really." I said. He nodded but he looked worried. "Why do you look so worried?" I asked him. "I'm not worried I just noticed you don't eat that much. It kinda scares me." He said. "I'm not starving myself, Ray. I've never ate a lot." I said. "Ok." He nodded. "Ok." I smiled. Gerard brought me some blood but didn't say anything. All he did was smile kindly at me. I was leaned over on Ray watching him play a game on his phone when I felt eyes on me. I looked over and saw Mikey looking at me. I smiled but he looked away. I shook my head and turned my attention back to Ray. "Hey." Ray whispered. I looked up at him and when I did he kissed my forehead. I furrowed my eyebrows. "What was that for?" I asked him. "Nothing. I just wanted to do that." He shrugged. "Oh. Okay." I said awkwardly.
