A crowd of people stood and watched in the Coliseum.
They were furiously yelling and throwing objects towards the center.
The person next to the executioner faced the crowd and spoke,
"Now we shall start with reading off the list of crimes this man committed!"
He unrolled a piece of paper and started reading,
"He is responsible for deaths of 3 nobles: Barrett Harman, Michele Langlois, and Liana Faucher. Kidnapped the 3rd daughter of Évreux family and brainwashed her to use her at his convenience."
The crowd gasped.
"KILL HIM!"
"EXECUTE HIM! TAKE HIS HEAD!"
There I was, in the middle, about to get my head chopped off.
The crowd looked at me with disgust and extreme killing intent.
"NO! STOP! He's INNOCENT! He DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. STOP! PLEASE, Dad HE's DONE NOTHING WRONG!"
I saw Eri in the distance fighting the guards holding her down.
"Now the execution of the criminal will carry out!"
I guess this is the dead end... I had a long run...
A man behind me grabbed my neck and placed it on the chopping block.
Eri was able to see me directly and I was able to see her straight. She was not giving up on resisting.
"Now let's hear the last word!"
My eyes met with Eri's. I smiled with my last teardrop.
"Sorry... and I- ...."
