I'm Not The One, But...

All of her sisters became so close to their tutor, Fuutarou Uesugi. All of them besides herself, Itsuki Nakano, the fifth Quintuplet.

Today, is their tutor session, nothing special. But ever since the Kyoto trip, his interactions with them became a little too distant. They can't blame him, after Ichika sabotage Miku, the whole fighting, confessions and stuffs, Fuutarou couldn't handle it.

And especially Yotsuba. For Itsuki, she felt guilt that she's using what should have been Yotsuba, the girl that changed Fuutarou's life.

"What can I do?" She asked herself. She couldn't focus due to her guilt eating her up.

Without realizing, Fuutarou's been snapping her thoughts.

"Itsuki, ITSUKI!!!! Focus!!" Fuutarou shouted. He promised to their dad that he'll help them find their dreams.

"Ehhh?? Uesugi-kun, why are you here?" She asked, as she forgets that he's been at their apartment for the last 2 hours.

"Hey Itsuki, are you dumb or something?" Nino glared at her.

"What?" She could only respond.

If you ask her, she's kinda irritated with the new Nino. She's always clinging to Fuutarou when she has a chance to do it.

"Fuu-kun's here to tutor us!!!!" Nino shouted. She's pissed at Itsuki for acting like that in front of her "Fuu-kun".

"Easy Nino. Itsuki might be just tired." Ichika reasoned. She then looked at Fuutarou, then started to frown.

"Nino, stop calling him 'Fuu-kun'!!!!! I'm the one who thought of that nickname!!!" Miku shouted. She didn't like Nino stealing her idea.

"Now guys, let's take it easy. Uesugi-san, come with me for a sec and let them cool off a bit." Yotsuba sighed and pulled Fuutarou outside.

The rest stopped arguing and focused their attention to the activities that Fuutarou gave them, except Itsuki.

"For some reason, why I felt that I needed to talk to Uesugi-kun? Ichika frowns whenever she saw Uesugi-kun. Nino acts like a brat when he's around. Miku suddenly became aggresive to him. And Yotsuba, I can see her fake smile. I can see she's in pain. But why she's keeping it to herself? Is Uesugi-kun aware of this? I don't know what to do now." Itsuki wonders. She's confused on what she needs to do.

After 10 minutes, the two came back and they continued the lecture.

For some reason, Itsuki still wonders. Her guilt grew larger as the days go by, and she needed to let it all out.

They were having a break. Fuutarou was sleeping, while Nino and Miku snuggled into him and slept as well. Ichika, locked herself in their bedroom. This leaves Itsuki and Yotsuba alone.

"Yotsuba, can we talk outside?" Itsuki asked nervously. She was shaking, agitated, and afraid.

"Sure." She replied with a smile. Seeing that pains Itsuki more.

They just went out and settled on a bench nearby on their apartment.

"So Itsuki, what do you want to talk about? If it's the same thing again, don't worry. I want to leave it that way." She said. She gave her a smile again, and it broke Itsuki's heart again.

"Yotsuba, you know, you're important to Uesugi-kun. I just can't let you ignore it. If you can open up to him, maybe he'll care." Itsuki said nervously. Her mind is running wild. She don't know what to do at this point.
