It was finally summer Micah was driving Marissa to the outpatient surgery center two towns away." Are you sure about this Marissa? I mean you look beautiful." he said
"Yeah..it's the one thing I can do to make myself feel beautiful again. I'm glad that you don't mind but I do. I use to have boobs and I did chemo and lost everything including my brother Micah. I have my hair back even if I add extensions most of the time. But the one thing that didn't grow back was my boobs so yes. I saved up all my gig money because my dad refused to help me." she said as she smoked a cigarette.
"Okay..I get it. As long as you aren't doing this to get a boy's attention." Micah said
"Hey just because you are a year older than me and already out of high school cause you dropped out doesn't mean you get to be all adult on me." she said
"Excuse me I have my GED thank you..and I get to start at the community college this fall." he said
They pulled into the outpatient center she got checked in and filled out all the information. Then they called her back while Micah waited in the waiting room. Meanwhile back in their hometown Bucky was waiting to talk to a lady about an apartment that he found in the paper that was in the building across the street from the old shop. He had been staying in the office since his mom found his snorting pills and kicked him out.
He met with the lady and put down a deposit on it and showed that he was emancipated from his mom that it was okay. She signed the paper that she had drawn up and told Bucky that his dad wouldn't want him to be this way and he signed the paper and packed his stuff and left. He put his bike in the back of his truck and stayed at the shop.
Two hours later Micah met Marissa's surgeon's "She did great..she's in recovery now." he said
"Okay thanks." Micah said
He walked into the recovery room and smiled. "Hey gorgeous." he said
She smiled and opened her eyes she looked at him "You were the first person I saw after my brain surgery..now this." she said
"Well I"m the only one that knows about this." he said
They kept her for a few hours then they headed back to their town. He posted to their social media that they were taking a six week vacation they would be back mid July. Bucky seen the post and whispered "What the hell.." as he laid on his couch drinking a bottle of bourbon.
After her 6 week recovery time was up they had a show lined up. She got dressed and did her hair and then she drove herself to the show.

She walked out on stage and started to sing "All I Wanna Do IS Make Love To You" as she played her guitar just as Bucky and the guys walked in. He ordered them a round then found them a seat. Bucky sat back as he licked his lips and enjoyed the show then took home one of the servers that was a red head.
