Preference #49- the fans ship you two

Riker: "Riker I have a question for you that has been showing up a lot on our website lately." The interviewer said, scooting a bit closer to Riker. "Uh oh." He said nervously, glancing over at the rest of the band. "It's about you and your best friend, (y/n). Care to explain this photo?" she asked, holding up a picture of the two of you. He waved his hand dismissively. "Oh that? That was the day we left for our European tour. I wasn't going to see her for three months." The interviewer raised an eyebrow skeptically. "It was just a friendly goodbye hug!" Riker said defensively. "That looks like more than just a friendly hug to me! Allow me to read some of the comments that we've received online in regards to this photo." She pulled out a sheet of paper. "Kaeley M. says 'Oh my gosh, just date already!!' Jessica S. says 'I ship it like FedEx.' Lexi K. says 'Look at her face! She loooooooves him and it's so obvious!' Rydel L. says 'They're perfect for eachother!'" Riker snapped his head over to look at Rydel. She had a sheepish look on her face. "Rydel!" he complained. She giggled. "I got caught up in the moment!" "She's right though." Rocky mumbled. "Look how red Riker is!" Ross said loudly. Riker's blush deepened. "Guys she's watching!" he said through gritted teeth. "Well good! It's about time she heard it from someone." Rydel interjected. "Yeah Riker! We see all of those lovestruck looks you give her all the time when you think nobody is watching. Just man up and tell her already!" Ross urged. Riker groaned. "Guys! Live TV! Can we please talk about anything else?" he pleaded. The interviewer obliged and finally moved on to the next question.

Rocky: "Oh my gosh Rydel look! Someone made a GIF of you from that R5 on R5 video!" You laughed aloud as you hit 'like'. Rydel groaned as she flopped down next to you on the tour bus couch. "I'm going to KILL them for including that in the video!" she growled. You giggled silently as you continued scrolling through Tumblr. You quickly skipped ahead when you noticed a picture of you and Rocky that several fans had reblogged. "Nuh uh!! Go back!" Rydel snatched the laptop from you and began scrolling back up to the picture you had skipped. "It was nothing." You said quietly, praying by some miracle she wouldn't find the picture. She quickly relocated the photo; it was a picture that Stormie had tweeted of you and Rocky goofing off on the bus a few days before. You immediately felt yourself begin to blush. Rydel scanned through the comments while you looked on from beside her. 'CUTENESS!' 'Dude I ship them so hard.' 'Could someone please inform Rocky & (y/n) that they're perfect for eachother?' You looked away and casually pulled out your phone, trying to act as though the comments hadn't had any effect on you. Rydel quickly covered your phone screen with her hand, trying to draw your attention back to her. "(Y/n) you're blushing!!" she squealed. You felt your blush deepen. "No I'm not." You mumbled. She squealed again. "Yes you are! Oh my gosh you like Rocky don't you??" she accused, beaming. You looked around the bus, desperately trying to avoid her gaze. "Why haven't you said anything??" she demanded. "Hello ladies!" Rocky bellowed as he walked into the back lounge. You jumped, dropping your phone onto the floor. "Oh look at the time! I have to go be somewhere. Bye!" Rydel said quickly, standing up and leaving the room; she glanced back over her shoulder and winked at you before shutting the door behind her. "Everything ok?" Rocky asked. You pressed your lips together nervously, feeling your heart rate quicken. It was now or never. "Rocky can we talk?" you asked.

Ross: "You get a follow. You get a follow. Ooh...you get a follow and a retweet." Ross absentmindedly scrolled through his Twitter, following random fans. "Whatcha doin' bro?" Riker asked as he flopped down on the living room couch next to him. "Following spree." Ross replied quietly, not looking up. He paused when he came across a picture that a fan had retweeted from Rydel. '@rossR5 teaching @(y/t/n) to play guitar. #besties' Several fans had reposted it and added their own captions. 'SHIP ITTTTTTT.' '@rossR5 & @(y/t/n)...can you say perfection?' 'Seriously they need to be together. Like now.' Ross half smiled as he read through the different comments. "What are you smiling about?" Riker demanded, snatching Ross's phone out of his hands. "Dude!" Ross cried, reaching for his phone. Riker held it out of his reach with one hand and pushed him back with the other. "These are all comments about you and (y/n)." Riker said, scrolling through the tweets. Realization finally dawned across his features. He turned slowly to look back at Ross. "Dude, do you like (y/n)?" he asked. Ross looked away, turning slightly red. "No..." he said quietly. Riker looked at him skeptically. Ross sighed. "I think it's a little past 'like' by now." He admitted. Riker smiled and handed Ross his phone back. "Why don't you just tell her?" he asked. Ross shrugged. "I don't know. It's easier said than done." He mumbled. Riker shrugged as well as he stood up. "Well you'll never know unless you give it a shot." He said, patting his brother on the back before leaving the room.

Ratliff: New love for R5 drummer?

Could a romance be blossoming for Ellington Ratliff? The R5 member has been spotted out in Los Angeles a lot recently with a mystery girl who has also been spotted backstage at several R5 events. Never fear Ratliff girls, the drummer has assured us here at Sugarscape that he is still happily single and the mystery girl is in fact his best friend, (y/n).However according to an online poll, most R5ers wouldn't be all that upset if Ratliff and (y/n) were together.
