The mystery of the dead mans hand or the pirates curse

Chapter one part one An unexpected death at the Ravens head pub

Dozens of stores have been told of the mystery curse of the dead mans hand and how it has spread like a pandemic everywhere from the United States to Europe. Some  that where braver then others have even attempted uncover the truth but only failed.  Death had surely reared its ugly head  and made his presence known. The curse was mostly effecting pirates many had died unexpectedly without any explanation. One thing was certain whatever was causing all of this  might somehow be connected to a treasure map that would lead to buried treasure. This isn't like something you may have heard out  the story long John silver and treasure island.Inside the treasure chest was a special document that would help solve the mystery and end the curse forever .On a Cool fall evening a boy who was a well known thief named Arnold Weber hurried along a crowed street on foot. He had to meet someone at the Ravens head pub for some important business. There was a chill in the air seafaring men of all types would often stop in the city of Boston. They would ether drink or hear stories in pubs the boy  hurried past all the other shops and bars until finally reaching the Ravens head pub He went inside there was music and pirates where sitting around drinking and some where singing loudly. Arnold  then spotted the person whom he was meeting. The man was sitting in the way back of the pub with his hood over his head to hide his face he also had a patriot on his shoulder . The  walked over to him and sat down you are late the man began''. My sincere apologies I had some other business to attend to Arnold said''. I assume that you brought what I asked the man added coldly if course it took me a long time to get it though  the boy explained and He then took out a small bag of something from his pocket and put it on the table. You did well but be aware that there is more then this the man said it was then that the patriot said something unusual. It said beware the dead mans hand whats that mean the boy asked?It's something every pirate should know the man replied''. It was then that a pirate who was also a known gambler fell out of his chair and collapsed dead onto the floor. People went to go see if the pirates was alright what happened Inquired a sailor?It's the omen of the dead mans hand the man spoke up there is no denying it''. The pirates had been sitting around playing a game of poker. The curse lives shouted a sailor and they ran out of the pub .Where are they going asked  Arnold ? Far away from here we should do that same the man answered and he got up put the pouch in his pocket then left. There has to be a way to stop this the boy  said to himself''. There isn't any way matey once the dead mans hand curse occurs nothing can stop it not even god the man told him" standing up ''.I know I will find a captain and crew of pirates to join and together we will solve the mystery Arnold declared''.Best of luck to you those that have tried never lived to tell about it the the man explained and he got up and left''. I have to at least try otherwise more pirates will suffer the same fate the boy added to himself ''.He walked out of the bar and headed down court street until reaching the Boston harbor .  Arnold saw a pirate ship docked and went aboard the boy  went up to a middle aged that was standing on deck. Along with some others pirates were also there they seemed not to notice the boy.

He's in his quarters right now and the is busy the middle aged pirate barked''. I must speak with him It's about Arnold lowered his voice the curse of the dead mans hand he whispered''. All the other pirates gasped in shock upon hearing about it.listen here boy you don't want to be getting into stuff like that it will only lead to a one way ticket to Davie Jones locker the pirate said'. I'am willing to risk anything that alive this mystery Arnold told him" we aren't though so you are better off leaving it alone the pirate advised". I won't leave this ship until I can talk to the captain the boy demanded now you're asking you trouble the pirates warned pulling out his sword". Put that sword away this instant black jack  ordered a voice from afar". A pirate with a peg and a patriot on his shoulder leg hobbled over to them. Captain this boy is nothing but trouble he wants us to go on a dangerous quest black jack explained''. Leave him alone obviously he's here for a reason I am captain Montgomery he began''. Black jack put his sword away to listen. I am here because I seek a captain and crew to help me solve the mystery of the dead mans man Arnold said''. Look laddie if we where to do that it could be the death of us all captain Montgomery replied''. Thats exactly what I said black jack said what's your name asked the captain? Arnold Weber the boy answered''. It's nice to meet you unfortunately what you are asking is out of the question captain Montgomery said'. An Indian man wearing a turban man stepped forward the sea can be unpredictable at times no one knows what might happen he added''. Papu is right we can't risk our lives over some silly story  rummy another pirate shouted ''. I think shouldn't be so. Cautious and do it Jin a African American pirate spoke up''. It could be  it be a real fun adventure dispute the danger ace another pirate began''. You are now our cabin boy captain Montgomery said patting Arnold on the back''. .It was then that everyone was in agreement then it's settled we shall set immediately make preparations for departure the conquistador will take on anything that comes its way captain Montgomery declared''. A few minutes later the conquistador left Boston harbor and headed out into the Atlantic Ocean. The Jolly Roger flag was raised. They eventually passed the cost of Canada the weather was perfect which made for smooth sailing. This was going to be an adventure like none other before. No matter what came their way captain Montgomery and his crew of pirates would be ready.
