Chapter four bart shores

Among the many crew members on the conquistador  there was one in particular that the boy found most interesting his name was Bart shores. He is California native and self proclaimed bounty hunter who claimed to have traveled all over the United States. Bart is now retired from bounty hunting and live a life on the open seas. Yeah I used have a job but work was boring to me so after a few years I decided to retire early the California native bragged to some of the other crew members''. He seemed very cocky and arrogant and narcissistic and always spoke his mind. It was a consistent nuisance to everyone else especially Papu.The the sun rose over the tranquil ocean on the next day Arnold had awoken to an loud noise. The boy realized that it was coming from Bart's room which was next door to his the California native was humming very loudly. Then the boy left his room to go up on deck Bart's door to his cabin was wide open. Arnold stopped and stood in the door way to listen at first the California native didn't notice him but soon enough he did. What are you starting at bart asked? Nothing the boy lied'' that's right mind you're business kid now scram the California native said rudely and he continued to hum''. Arnold kept walking but was interrupted by spade the captain says that we all have to be on deck right now he heard him say''. Well i'am busy right now bart said annoyed'' you better do as captain Montgomery orders spade replied''. There's is nothing he can do about it so just leave me alone snapped the California native''. Spade then left him alone the boy kept on walking with spade not too far behind him. When the boy finally reached the deck the other pirates where busy working good morning everyone Arnold greeted them all''. Same to you lad Jin said back''. where is mr. shores the captain asked? He refuses to leave his cabin spade answered''. Well we'll just see about that mr. Papu you are to go get mr. shores and bring him here captain Montgomery instructed''. Aye aye sir Papu said and then he left to go get bart from his room.
Why is bart have to be so difficult inquired Jin? Who knows all I can say is that he makes me feel uneasy whenever he's around rummy replied''. It was sometime after that that Papu came back with the California native who was putting up a fight.
What this about bart asked? I ordered for everyone to be on deck that means you too the captain began''. Listen here I don't take orders from anyone on this ship bart said'' that kind of attitude makes question you're loyalty captain Montgomery replied''. The hell with all of you as soon as we reach land I'll go on my own the California native snapped''. I'am the captain and that means you have to listen to me or else there will be serous consequences the captain added sternly''. That doesn't scare me for all I care you can swim with the sharks bart barked''. Keep it up and you're will be doing just that captain Montgomery warned''take him to the brig he then said''.Papu and rummy grabbed the California native get you're hands off of me this isn't over yet I'll find a way off this ship one way or another yelled bart as he was taken away''. Look over on the starboard side there are islands shouted the pirate up in the crows nest'' everyone ran over to see I wonder what island that is  Arnold began''. It's too far away to tell lad captain Montgomery told him''.It was then that the pirate in the crows nest fell down dead onto the deck it's happening again we're running out of time Jin said''. What is to be done with the body asked spade? Leave it where it is for now the captain replied''. Death has taken another buccaneer from this world it's only a matter of time before more join the rest that have already perished jack added sadly''.This is getting  serious we must reach the island and solve the mystery as soon as possible rummy began''.Easer said then done I afraid that other pirate crews besides us have set sailed and are trying to do the same thing ace said''. Now it's about who gets there first the Papu Explained '' as god as our witness will reach death island before all the other do spade said''. That's the spirit we're not going to let a little curse or other pirates get in our way captain Montgomery spoke up with much enthusiasm''. That afternoon there was a meeting on deck and was announce by the captain that their journey would take an entire year. The conquistador wasn't moving too swiftly but steadily though the waters which became a bit choppier then before. Regardless of this minor inconvenience there seemed to be some tension on the ship. It was possible that the other pirates started to doubt the captain and whether or not really wanted to solve the mystery or just wanted the treasure all for himself. This uncertainty spread though out the conquistador the only person who was willing to stay loyal was Arnold. The boy had the upmost faith in him and that captain Montgomery wasn't going to betray his own crew in any way. As they traveled on never once considering the dangers that they might encounter along the way but that didn't matter. The boy had gone from local orphan thief turned pirate cabin boy in a short amount of time. Arnold didn't mind this at all because he had longed for adventure now more then before joining captain Montgomery's crew. The boy was content with his new found life and planned to never go back to theft again. The boy wrote some more in his journal he was living the life of an adventurer and wanted it to stay that way.
