The next few days seemed to go by very quickly bart remained in the brig but was let out on the condition that he behaved himself. The California native tried his hardest not to have another anger outburst he described the brig to everyone else on the ship as a cold and dark place with rats running everywhere. Soon enough Bart rejoined the crew however they where somewhat skeptical about it and believed that the California native would once again lose his temper this time only worse then before. Arnold was too busy to get involved nothing to report sir all is quiet Papu began''. You know I never get tired of being on the seas it brings out the best in me captain

Shores nothing has ever been achieved with rushing the captain said''. Keep in mind that we still have a long journey ahead of us before returning to Boston Papu added''. Soon enough the evening turned into night Arnold tired to go to sleep but was able to because bart was In the room next door to him. He was listening to a transistor radio very loudly and it was disturbing the boy. So Arnold  got out of bed and left his room and went next door to the California native's room. Arnold know that he wasn't going to get any sleep with the California native in the room next door so he went up on deck for a while. once there the deck was completely empty except for the captain who was steering the ship as he always did. At first captain Montgomery didn't even notice that the boy until after seeing him from the corner of his eye.

I can't sleep because Mr. Shores is being very noisy in the room next door to me Arnold answer''. Well I could  always use someone to keep me company captain Montgomery told him''. At that point he looked up at the starry night Sky the boy hesitated at first but did the same. I tell you this boy when someone like me has been all over there are times a person has to get up forever the captain began''.
Why do you say that sir asked Arnold? Only because I've grown tired of sailing the seas and this will be my last journey captain Montgomery replied''.

Probably spend the rest of my years living near a wharf if it's possible the captain answered''.
What do you think the others will do asked the boy?
Who knows but one thing is certain i'am finished going on adventures captain Montgomery replied''.

Maybe but there are other pirates who are on the same mission as us captain Montgomery answered''.
What if this is all for nothing asked Arnold?
For all of our sakes we can only hope not the captain replied'' the other pirates must already be ahead of us by now the boy began''. Some are and some aren't it's a  really a race against time now captain Montgomery said''. I hope we're the ones who solve the mystery Arnold added''. That would be something to brag about for sure the captain told him''. If not then we can be the people who discovered the existence of the Loch Ness monster the boy began''. Many have already tried but were never heard from ever again that the honest truth captain Montgomery said''. Well not us we're live to tell about it Arnold replied''. That's wishful thinking the captain added what do you mean asked the boy? Well for one thing there's no telling what could happen so it's best not to be too overconfident captain Montgomery told him''. When it got very late the boy went back to his cabin by then the California native was asleep. So after getting undressed Arnold got into bed and fell asleep the boy was very excited for the expedition. He hoped that they would make history even though it would be dangerous and unpredictable Arnold was up for it. The boy knew that this was only the beginning of many things that were soon to come.
