Chapter three Arnold forms his hypothesis

The next day when Arnold and the rest of the crew awoke they rushed on deck as quickly as possible. Captain Montgomery who had been awake the entire night didn't look the least bit tired. I have good news  we're now near Scandinavia crew and are making good time he greeted him with  a smile''. I heard that the island is bobbie trapped spade said how do you know that asked jack? Everyone does it is said dead pirates ghosts haunt the island ace replied''.I don't believe in ghosts that stuff is just made up remarked rummy'' their real there's proof Papu told him''. He's not wrong legend has it that they also fly over pirate ships that are traveling on the seas the captain said' their like evil spirits that never seem to go away spade added mysteriously''. Well my hypothesis is that there could be ghosts and Bobbie traps but if no one could find the island but us then maybe not Arnold said''. Children are so naive to think such things but the legend isn't a fake bates another pirate spoke up''. That's enough everyone back to work ordered captain Montgomery'. Just then one of the other pirates like the one at the ravens head collapsed dead. Captain it's happened again shouted ace''. They all went over to see what had happened that curse will be the death of us all the captain began''. Let's give old mad dog a proper burial at sea suggested lefty''.Yes that is only right and someone should say a few words before we toss his body rummy said''. Alright then I will do it Papu replied''. What should be said about him asked a pirate? How about he was a true man of the seas and a great pirate at that he will be missed Papu added''.
What about his vast knowledge inquired jack? We can't forget about that ether and truly one of a kind okay men toss him ordered captain Montgomery''. So three of the pirates then threw the body overboard into the ocean I have a feeling that this won't be the last death we'll encounter Papu remarked''. Why is that asked the boy? Legend has it that they protect the island from trespassers and robbers who try and steal the treasure Arnold added grinning''.

Alright everyone back to work ordered captain Montgomery the rest of the day they sailed the north Atlantic Ocean which was uneventful. They weren't anything else stand in their way Arnold then approached Papu who was standing by the captains side who was busy steering the ship. do you think it's we"ll find the island the boy asked? The evening came in the blink of an eye as they continued to sail on towards the Indian Ocean where death island was located. It seemed inevitable that they would eventually reach their destination sooner the expected the sun went down over the ocean a few hours later the boy watched on deck then returned to his cabin afterwards. Arnold felt like there wasn't anything exciting to write about at the moment he hoped that there would be something soon. Night came quickly came the gentle waves rocked the boy to sleep everything was as peaceful as can be.
