A light summer breeze hit my face as I opened my eyes and was met with the shining sun .

I inhaled deeply savouring every moment of remained life . I could relate now to the saying, you understand the value of something when you lose it .

We walked for hours and went through different paths and places.

How ironic to see for the first time the world I lived in for so many years , now that I was dead.

I could see the grass, the trees , the Mediterranean sea . Mountains, houses and temples. The sight was mesmerizing and I couldn't have enough of it.

It felt like freedom

Walking through the roads and seeing different places. Not just walls . I liked this feeling. Everything was so unexpected , I wouldn't know what I would see next . Not like in labyrinth that everything was plain and boring.

Everything was perfect, except of one thing .

The humans

They were looking at me and whispering to each other, giving me their judgmental glares.
Some of them wanted to attack me or others prepared their weapons to scare me away .

I lowered my head , as it was too much to take and sighed.

Persephone noticed this and took my hand showing them that I was with her. That I was harmless.

She smiled to me trying to make me feel better but I just shook my head and continued walking.

After a while we reached out destination which was the mountain Olymbus , the house of Gods.

Persephone called her mother , Demeter, the goddess of fertility, harvest and the cycle of life and death.

She told me that in order for me to interact with people that are still alive , which ruins the world's balance, we had to ask Gods' permission.

I nodded my head in agreement as I had no other choice but to obey any order they gave . I was determined to meet Elpida and I was willing to do whatever it takes.

After a while Demeter came down to us from the mountain and immediately hugged Persephone saying how much she missed her and how she loved her .

I was watching their mother and daughter rebonding like it was something unordinary. Something valuable and charming.

I didn't realize how a small smile formed on my dry lips and my eyes softened.

Demeter turned to look at me and extended her hand . I placed my hand in hers a little taken aback and she squeezed it giving me a genuine smile.

"I -
I started to explain the reason I was there but she interrupted me

"I know. "
She assured me
"We were watching you from above for quiet a long time Minotaurus. And after Aphrodite, the goddess of love ,had been persuading us to help you, we decided we will give you a chance to prove to everyone that true love exists and not to lose hope under any circumstances."
She carried on
" The thing is , if you manage to make her fall in love with you , for who you are , without any help of Gods or Cupid ( Aphrodite's son ) in you favor , you will come back to life...- "
She paused as I gasped for air , shock and anticipation overwhelming me as I was hanging off her lips .

"If you succeed in one day, you both will live happily forever " she announced
" You will become immortals"
