Nothings Fine, Im Torn. . .

Moments. . .

Kayla's POV

"Harry?" i whisper.

"Im here baby. Whats wrong?" he whispers.

"He-He was here. He was in the bathroom." i choke out and cry harder and harder.

"How'd he get in??" the boys ask me.

"the-the-the w-window" i stutter.

"Im gonna fucking kill him." Louis says, getting mad. Liam, Niall, And Zayn check the whole place, locking every door, window, etc, searching for him to see if he's still in the house. But he isnt. I jst lay in Harrys arms and cry.

I start to calm down after a while. Im still in Harry's arms. Im so lucky...to have these boys caring for me like this and worrying about me.. Nobody really cared about me before i came here.. My 'Mum' would at least try to get Steve to stop hitting me sometimes.. But thats really it..

"Harry?" I whisper

"Yes love?" He asks

"Is Louis going to be okay?"

"Yes.. He just... Cant loose you again and he's really protective of his sisters, so he's really upset with Steve.. But you wouldnt be?" He asks

I ignore his question, because... Nobody was upset with Steve.. That is again, until i came here..

"Babe?" Harry asks

"Yea?"

"So what happened.. From the start." He asks

I start to tear up thinking about this..

I finally have enough courage to say something.

"I had to pee. Then i asked for you to come with me, you did.. We both went upstairs and i told you to wait outside the door. I went in, locked the door, and made my way to the toilet. I heard something, so i said hello. Then the shower curtains shook a bit..." I say..

A tear prickles out of my eye. I look at him. He is looking me in the eyes, with a weak smile, showing he is listening. He nods, telling me to continue.. I nod.

I inhale deeply, getting ready to tell the rest of the story.

"I went over to the curtains and opened them quickly. Nobody way there. I was relieved. Then i turned around, bumping into someone.. Steve." Tears start coming out of my eyes.

"A-and then i was about t-to scream. He took out a kn-knife.. And covered my mouth with his hand hard. H-he told me to not scream or ill g-get it.. I started to silently cry.. Then he hanked my hair and pulled me to the window. He opened it, but it m-made a screeching noise, vibrating the glass. The vibration of the glass made the candle fall.. Then he mumbled something that i didnt hear.. Then j-jumped out of the window.. I closed it and ran out." I say, sobbing a little. Harry pulls me in a massive hug. He doesnt let go for a long time. He finally pulls back and wipes all my tears, but im still crying. They quickly fall over again. He pulls me onto his lap. I put my head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat.. I calm down a little, but im still crying. He starts to lightly sing to me.

"You know ill be, your life. Your voice. Your reason to be.. My love. My heart.. Is breathing for this.. Moment. In time.. Ill find the words to say.. Before you leave me today.." I weakly smile. And continue listening. He sings the rest of the song.

When he finishes, I'm slowly drifting off to sleep.. Then the whole world goes black and i get lost in my dreams...
