Craig was the opposite of Tricia. He wasn't impulsive and he didn't put his nose in other people business so walking up to the restaurant owner asking about the meat locker was the last thing, Craig, though he would be doing this summer.
The restaurant owner was an old man probably in his seventies that had the worst attitude imaginable.
"Excuse me but can you answer a few of our questions," Craig asked holding a pencil and notebook in his hands.

"Fine, what do you kids what to know," the old man asks rolling his eyes in annoyance. The old man clicked his tongue and waited for Craig to speak again.

"Well we wanted to know a couple of things about the meat cellar down the way," Craig asks. He held up his paper ready to write.

"I don't know nothing about that their meat cellar!" He says before closing the door on Craig's face.

"Well that went well," Craig said sarcastically although a little happy that the investigation was cut short.

"Welp I guess we're just going to have to investigate elsewhere," Kenny tells the two a smirk on his face.

"no no no I am not doing this. I just wanted to just enjoy my summer like a normal child would not play Detective with you two and solve mysteries"
Craig tells the two Sternly gripping the notebook and doll tighter.

"But-"
"No buts. I'm going home" he shouts storming off losing his normally level headed facade.
Ok, so the truth was he is just like his sister Tricia. He was impolite and apathetic. Sure he was also sensible most of the time but that was only because he felt the need to watch over his sister. He needed to be the  yang to her yin. But now he was done being composed and tranquil he was gonna be Craig: the normal blunt person he was.

"Craig you and Tricia were supposed to get back quicker! Wait where's Tricia Craig" Thomas yelps into Craig's face.

"She wanted to stay with her new friend Kenny she said she'd be back in a few" Craig Lied looking his dad straight in the eyes.

"You know what we don't have time to deal with this I'll just leave a key under the doormat for when she gets back and you put on this we are almost late for your volunteering hours at the restaurant"
Lauren says putting a dress shirt and pants in Craig's hands.

The restaurant was filled with men in suits discussing god knows what. The old man that owned the restaurant always has business men come over to show off the restaurant to get someone to buy it so far it hasn't worked.
He would get children to volunteer to that he wouldn't have to pay anyone. Free child labor I guess.
"What do you think?" One of the men says while the other takes a bite of a burger.
"Well it tastes funny but saying it's a mystery meat will make people want to buy it"

Sorry for the short chapter it's just that I wanted to get this chapter done so I could get to the good stuff which kinda made this chapter crappy.
