Day 2 Part 3 - "They're sacred creatures"

Your POV

"Okay, buy guys!"

Jungkook and I waved at everyone before walking out of the building to head home after a long day.

Miryeong already left earlier since she had to run for an errand for her parents. The girl was really baffling, considering how she took a liking to Jungkook in my body. I wondered what he told her to make her have such a good impression of me.

I heaved a sigh after we both climbed inside his car. "I can't believe the three of us will be hanging out together..."

He hummed before buckling his seatbelt and turning on the engine to drive us back to his own apartment. We were supposed to continue our talk from early in the morning.

"What did you tell her about me?"

He let out a long hum before saying, "Nothing special."

"Like what?"

"You don't have to worry about that."

I groaned internally and we continued to drive in silence until we arrived before his apartment.

"You're not wearing a mask," he reminded me. "Even though it's night, being cautious wouldn't hurt."

I cursed out loud before grabbing a mask from my bag and quickly putting it on.

We got off the elevator and went into his home, exhaustion and sleepiness filling the four walls as we dragged our feet through the rooms to change and wash up before dropping ourselves on the couches.

"Takeout?" He offered.

My stomach grumbled loudly like a thunder tearing the sky, and I whined, "Why do you eat so much? I eat three plateful of food and I still get hungry. What is your stomach made of? Black hole?"

"First of all, I'm a male. Second of all, I dance and workout a lot everyday which means I need lots of nutrition. Third of all, I was just born that way." He snorted near the end.

I rolled my eyes and gestured him to order something. The both of us couldn't be bothered to cook anyway.

After having some steaks, spicy chicken and jajangmyeon delivered, we sat down around the diner table to eat them while having a conversation.

"Do you think we'll switch back tomorrow?"

I really hoped so. "Maybe..."

"What do you think breaks this curse?"

How am I supposed to know that?

"Didn't we agree that making up would? Our argument caused this, right?"

"Honestly, I'm not so sure," he mused, chewing his chicken slowly. "I can't help but think that our necklaces had something to do with it though... They're nothing special, but still."
