La Musique had become the talk of the town, a very small town though.
Sam and I were happy, well, mostly Sam because he had worked very hard for it and I was happy for him.
The only time when La Musique was quiet was in the afternoons, and that too only because it was too hot for people to come out. But some really regular customers who loved it there, battled the heat.
It had been over a week that I hadn't seen Chris, but it didn't really trouble me much, we weren't friends. We weren't anything.
I went to sleep with a happy heart at nights. Most of them.
I had been feeling very low for a couple of days now, but I just thought that I must've eaten at the wrong place, or maybe it was just the weather that was playing tricks, so I didn't tell anyone. I thought it was normal.
I didn't quite pay attention to it, but Sam did.
